  1. I've only used it in lotion & body spray so far. It is wonderful in lotion, isn't it!
  2. Another yummy one is White Peach from the scent works.
  3. I continued to test it with 4 other scents, starting at 1% fo load & upping to 2.5% on 2 of them. (I only go straight to 3% for myself/my own personal use) & I'm still getting a sulphur/egg note coming through. I actually asked one of my usual testers what she thought, & she smelled it too. Could I have gotten an "off" batch? But I must say, I just love the feel & consistency of this stuff!
  4. Just curious: do you go the full "up to 3%" fo load? I think for a sample for myself, I'm going to try 3% right off the bat. But to test, I'll start at 1% & see how it goes. Ok, I just made myself some using Daystar's Buttercream Frosting at 2% fo & it feels wonderful & there is plenty of scent, but there is this weird base smell coming through that I don't smell straight out of the jug? I can't put my finger on it. It almost smells like eggs? Hmmm? Anyone else get this?
  5. I just had to mention that I'm in love with Daystar's Cherry Meringue Bites, that's all:) .
  6. Do you find that Fragrances By Design's designer dupes are pretty dead on to the originals? I ordered a bunch to start testing.. before asking, of course! I think this weekend I will get over to a store that sells all the original perfumes & sniff them out for myself & do some comparisons. I ordered the fo's based on requests, as I am not very familiar with the originals(I'm not the perfumey type). thanks!
  7. I just got KY's Soy Whipped Body Cream & I'm going to start playing with it today & then begin testing. On their site it says to whip it using a hand mixer, etc...but to me, it looks & feels like I could use this right out of the jug. I love the consistency & feel & it doesn't look like mixing in FO would be difficult, as I only make small batches at a time, as products are ordered. Does anyone use this straight from the tub & NOT use a mixer? I'm pretty excited about this. I haven't tested a new product or base in a long time. Things are quieter & have settled down now that we've gotten thru all the major holidays from Nov-April, so I have the time to invest in testing now. Thanks for any help or opinions:smiley2:
  8. I see that Aroma Haven has a new body spray base. I've used WSP's Luxury Mist for so long, but this one says it can take up to 10% FO load! I might have to try this: http://www.rusticescentuals.com/bases.html I don't know how new this is, so I don't know if any of you have tried it yet. But if you have tried it: how is it? thanks
  9. Cinn Glazed Baklava is so good! as is their Buttercream Frosting. Oh, and I agree: Blackberry Jam Butter Cookies is great too!
  10. Daystar's "Incredible Baked Cherry Delight" comes pretty darned close IMHO.
  11. I am very pleased with the bases from www.Wholesalesuppliesplus.com as well as www.essentialsbycatalina.com & both places allow you to buy sample sizes to try out
  12. The also have a message board(bottom, left of home page), where you could post the question, but I just looked on the site & can't find that FO either. Sounds great though!!!Yummy boysenberries!
  13. I'm hoping to find a Smores fo, rather than having to mix 3 oils(but I will if I have to!). I only see one listed for Taylored Concepts & Brighter Scents on the search sites, but honestly, I don't like either place for oils. Has anyone come across a Smores oil somewhere else? Thanks so much:D
  14. Does anyone know of a "sherbert" FO? I was thinking of blending orange, lime and raspberry or cherry, but was wondering if maybe there is already a rainbow sherbert type oil out there, that I've missed. Thanks!
  15. I love Angel Wings from NG - powder & vanilla. Very pleasing
  16. or maybe www.essentialsbycatalina.com
  17. I find that the one thing everyone likes(some alot, some a little)is Vanilla
  18. Too many to name, but here are a couple(bath & body only) Daystar, Just Scent, Indiana Candle Supply
  19. Does a WHITE chocolate really smell that much different than a REGULAR chocolate FO? Maybe more buttery? I'm curious now!
  20. It IS just as easy as that! I'd say to buy a small scale though, to weigh your base & your fragrance oils to make sure you are putting the correct amounts(percentages or weights) in, per the amount of base you are making at a time.
  21. I think WSP is going in that direction. A bunch of new Phthalate free oils on thier site & some discussion of it on their blog & forum.
  22. Their Goats Milk & Honey lotion is great!!!
