  1. I have tried alot of their scents. They are my local supplier. Here are the ones I have tried that work great in soy (CB135):

    Apple Jack and Peel

    Apples and Maple Bourbon

Banana Nut Bread-I sent out several testers from different companies to a hard to please bnb girl and she picked this version!

    Christmas Cedar

    Cranberry Marmalade

    Fig Forest

    Honeysuckle Jasmine

    Lavender Cucumber Sage

    Macintosh Apple

Mistletoe- tested against MC and Bittercreek and this version won.

    Rose

  2. I have a sample of FOH Tahitian Vanilla Spice. OOB it does smell awesome.

Ones I have put into wax that are awesome cold and hot:

    Extreme Vanilla~Millcreek

    Vanilla Voodoo~CandleCacoon

I have just poured EnchantedLites Vanilla. Smells great cold. Have not burned yet.

I have tried JS vanillas and BCN's and none of these were great throwers in CB135.

I am also going to try CandleScience's Vanilla in the next couple of weeks.

Reading Jordan's post reminded me about Snowtop's Vanilla Bliss. It does throw well but I agree with Jordan, not really a vanilla to me. I detect a coffee smell in it????

  3. Got my samples today! I am pouring 6 tonight so they will have time to cure over the Holiday. Here is what I am pouring tonight:

    Cloved Cranberry

    Cranberry Sangria

    Mossberry

    Vanilla

    Woods & Wildflowers

    Hot Apple Strudel

    All at 8% in CB135

  4. Cloved Cranberry ~ Sweet fruity plums simmered with spice and sprinkled with a sugared glaze. An exceptionally fruity blend of cassis, fig and plum touched by zesty lemon and sweetened with honey

Holiday Memories ~ Warm Cinnamon blended with Peach, Banana, Pineapple and Clove.

Lavender ~ A true Lavender with notes of Thyme, Musk, Clary Sage, Bergamot and Mint.

Mossberry ~ Fresh picked Raspberry blended with Oak Moss, Lavender, Italian Bergamot and Indian Patchouli.

Mulberry ~ Tart Mulberry sweetened with Raspberry and Madagascar Vanilla.

Pumpkin Pie ~ Fresh baked Pumpkin Pie baked with Cinnamon, Clove, Nutmeg and Ginger.

Rosemary ~ Fresh picked Rosemary and Australian Eucalyptus.

Victorian Christmas ~ High mountain fresh Evergreens with an added touch of sophistication that includes Cinnamon, Clove and other warm Spices.

Watermelon ~ Juicy, mouth watering and sweet, Watermelon.

Woods & Wildflowers ~ A sophisticated and elegant fragrance opening with fresh bergamot blended into a heart of clean, fresh florals and warm spicy notes of clove and nutmeg. In the base, cedarwood, vanilla, patchouli and musk add depth and sensuality.

I am getting lots of scent samples also: Almost Paradise, Hot Apple Strudel, Cinnabons just to name a few! Also getting samples of both waxes!

  5. I have read mixed reviews on this company on some threads here. I decided to go ahead and give them a try anyway. I checked out there site and emailed for a scent list. Almost immediately I received an email with the scent descriptions attatched. I also posted on a few other boards that use their scents for some suggestions. Bruce actually emailed me after he found out I was inquiring and told me to call him! I spoke with Bruce today and have samples on the way! I ordered 10 different scents and he is also throwing several scent samples in and some samples of wax! Very very nice! I am very impressed with their customer service! I will update once I have some of these in wax.

    Thanks Bruce!

  6. I have a friend that orders most of her FO's from Northstar and Just By Nature. They use the Apples-n-Oak from Northstar and it sells well and smells great! I do not hear alot about these suppliers on here but they have been sucessful with them in soy. Maybe worth a try...or not??????:undecided

  7. Well the person who requested the applewood orchard dupe of the discontinued yankee scent said that the one I sent her was dead on! This is not at all like apples-n-oak! It is a very weird scent and super strong cold. She said she loved it and it was even stronger burning! OMG! I think I would gag if it were any stronger! But hey, she liked it so that is all that matters.

  8. I have a Vanilla Nut Bread from JS and its a sample( and I didnt get it directly from JS..I got it from someone off this board) and I SWEAR it smells like parmesean cheese...enough to where Im not gonna pour it !

I just had to chime in about the cheese smell

    Deana

:laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2:That is why I had to pour this one just to see if it still smelled weird in wax!

  9. Has anyone tried this scent? Here is the description:

Detailed Description Icing, cinnamon, and molasses, combine with the sweetness of raisins with a a touch of brown sugar and rich golden baked cookies. Guess it is not too much of a secret.

I did not like the smell OOB. So I poured it yesterday and burned it in the bathroom at work today. I still could not pinpoint what it smelled like. A customer used the bathroom and came out and said that it smelled like a grilled cheese sandwich in there! LOL!:laugh2: And that is exactly what it smelled like! I would not think that from the description given. I wonder if something is wrong with the oil????? I would not think that it was bad because it is a new fragrance?????

  10. For Scent Works sales, sign up for the newsletter. They were doing a special sale on an FO once a week along with other specials. It may take them a little time to get back into the funk of that though having been on vacation and running a vacation sale lol.

I emailed them about signing up for the newsletter like 3 weeks ago and have never heard back. How do you sign up?

    Thanks!

  11. I received an email today about ICS carrying this companies oils:

Indiana Candle Supplies is proud to announce that it has teamed with, local neighbor and Manufacturer, The Lebermuth Company, Inc. to bring you a new Fragrance and Essential Oil Distributorship.

The Lebermuth Comapny is a family owned business and since 1908 has been a grower and direct supplier of essential oils produced in the US and from many countries throughout the world.

Now direct through Indiana Candle Supplies "mini muth" distributorship you are able to purchase Lebermuth oils in smaller quantities with no minimum order requirements, for catalog merchandise. Fragrance and Essential oils will be priced at or below Lebermuth's 5lb pricing. Therefore, you do not have to be a big buyer in order to get big savings.

We will gradually be adding Lebermuth's entire catalog to the "mini muth" site, however, in the mean time, if there are any catalog items not yet listed, that you must have, please send us an email at MiniMuthMail@aol.com

Are these oils suppose to be really good???????

  12. Candle Supply? If so, any reviews or recommendations. I was surfing and found them-they have soy based FO's and they are located in my state of Minnesota.

    Thanks

    Tracey

I have a friend that orders most of her FO's from them. I have purchased many of her candles and loved most of them. I have ordered the Blueberry Cheesecake and Country Berry and absolutely love them! Awesome throw and scent! My friend uses CB135 and so do I. I would just order some samples and see what you think. I have not seen much talk about them on this board?????

  13. I dont see enough at candle science to make a order though, I have several suppliers and to add another is crazy unless they have 6 or so that i need and they dont. :cry2:

Keep checking back with them. They are constantly testing fragrances and will be adding more soon!
