Hello my friend
I know they go through some pretty intense testing before releasing anything new....but that's a good thing.
You are so fortunate to live so close....wish I could put some faces to the voices on the phone. Have you met Rosemary??
I have met Rosemary she is great! She is the Mom. They are great people.

CandleScience has a Peppermint and Eucalyptus that is really nice no fuel smell to me. I smell mostly peppermint.
-
Thank you!

Definitely! They are my local supplier so I am able to meet them in person and they are all very nice. My husband works near them so he can pick up my orders, but sometimes I pick them up myself just to chat with everyone. I am loving their scents also.
I think it is time for them to come out with some new ones????? Hello Dan??????

I think I have seen a calculator on the board where you enter the cost for all your supplies to figure your cost of candles, but I can't find it. If you know the link please post it for me. TIA!

KY has an awesome Sage & Sweetgrass FO!

Maybe you could try mixing it! BC carries a spice FO, then use a good rose and vanilla. Never smelled this so do not know what ratios but maybe you could do the q-tip trick that has been mentioned here on the board to get the right combo. Just a thought.

I have used several in CB135 and a friend of mine uses about all of them in her line in CB135! The ones I think have an authentic smell and throw well are:
Butt Naked
Cherry Amaretto
Chocolate Cake ~awesome
Christmas Tree~not astrong pine scent..very nice
Country Bumpkin
Kumquat
Lilac
Loganberry
Monkey Farts
Orange Dreamsicle
Pumpkin & Vanilla

I use CandleScience's and it throws great in soy!

Hey You!! How are 'ya??
I should've asked to to go get my "stuff" for me...lol...lol
I ordered 4- ozers of the ChristmasCedar....it's awesome!! They also have the best Mulbery, and the best Scotch Pine
I'm also getting some more CBA, 'cause people around here still luv the colors
Hey you! I am great! You should have PM'd me! I would have mailed you some FO's!
-
I would suggest the pint mason jars. From what I have seen on most sites this is what is used for fundraisers.
I can make one for around $4.00 and they could be sold easily for $9-10.00.
-
They are local for me, but alot of suppliers only ship UPS. I think all suppliers use the same UPS rates unless they add an extra fuel charge which I am pretty sure CS does not. Can't understand shipping being $20.00 more from CS for the same amount of product??? But maybe I do not know???
If I find really good FO's from other companies it is worth the shipping cost to me.

I just placed my order with CS for my .99 samples!
Here is what I ordered:
Black Cherry
Black Curant & Necterine
Christmas Cedar
Cool Citrus Basil
Creme Brulee
Green Tea and Lemongrass
Lavender
Lemon Verbena
Mulberry
Peppermint and Eucalyptus
Red Clover Tea
Scotch Pine
Strudel and Spice
Sugar Cookie
Vanilla
-
I have not tried this but have read on here that some people add a little vanilla to their citrus FO's to tame the fuel smell.
-
I called Dan and spoke with him about the wax I was using. I told him what scents I was interested in and he told me which ones he has tested in similar wax that were awesome throwers. What a nice guy!
I ordered: Mistletoe, BNB, Vanilla Hazelnut, Cranberry Marmalade, Hanzel & Gretel's House. (I use a 50/50 soy blend.)
Now I wished I had ordered more. The problem is ... I have so many samples, that I'm never going to get through testing all of them! I'm addicted to fo's!
Dan is great! It is a family owned business and they have the customer service to prove it! They also do alot of testing. The BNB, CM, and Mistletoe are awesome in CB135! I do not think you will be disappointed with your choices.

What did everyone order form the CS sale? I am going to order tomorrow. Here is what I am looking at trying. The ones in red are FO's I have not tried yet.
Apple Jack and Peel
Black Cherry
Christmas Cedar
Creme Brulee
Lemon Verbena
Mistletoe
Mocha Cafe
Mulberry
Red Clover Tea
Scotch Pine
Strudel and Spice
Sugar Cookie
Vanilla
