  1. I'm testing the CB Advanced right now. The cold throw is great, but the hot throw for me, so far, is non-existent. I did however, throw a tart in the burner that I had from leftover wax, and it threw like crazy. Go figure. :rolleyes2 Just an FYI: For me, the CB Advanced seeped at 9%.
  2. I agree completely with the others. I never had success with BC's FO's. Peak has great oils. :smiley2: ETA: Except for BC's Pumpkin Cheesecake. Now that one is good.
  3. I believe that was Ange. You may try PM'ing her. HTH :smiley2:
  4. Do you get seepage at 6%? I poured some Amaretto Nog at 6%, and I just noticed it is seeping. Do you use vybar with this wax?
  5. It isn't hard. To me, it's easier. I'll never use votive or pillar wax for clams again. With my container wax, they look better, throw better, and are easier to pop out of the clam. :smiley2:
  6. I use my container wax for my clams. (Before anyone says anything about it, let me repeat I use my container wax **FOR MY CLAMS, NOT TARTS **) LOL I have never, ever had a problem with them, and the throw beats any votive wax I've ever used. :smiley2:
  7. I love anything and everything pumpkin, but for Halloween I think the novelty scents are more fitting. JMHO. I like to save the pumpkin pie type scents for Thanksgiving.
  8. Black Licorice, Witches Brew, Candy Corn. NG has all of these. :smiley2:
  9. Yep, cover them puppies up. :smiley2: Have fun in your new venture.
  10. I agree. Nature's Secret or Nature's Secrets sounds better IMO. I seen spider webs at first too. I agree that changing the coloring would probably help a lot. I like it, though. Simple but eye-catching.
  11. Everything looks great! I'll bet you are super excited!
  12. I like these too! Good job.:smiley2:
  13. You mean there are other FO's out there besides food scents? LOL I love the "clean" scents. (Clean Cotton, Country Clothesline, etc) Pink Sugar is my fave. (Perfumey and sweet at the same time.) Peak's Mountain Lake is a really nice scent. Personally florals make me gag, so can't help with those. They remind me of funeral homes.:lipsrseal
  14. Just goes to show you that what works for one doesn't work for another. I never got anywhere near a full melt pool with a 62z, let alone a 60z.:rolleyes2
  15. I was born in the 70's, so I like 'em. I think they are great.
  16. The few FO's that I have gotten from them have been WEAK OOB. So much that I never bothered to put them into wax. JMO.:smiley2: If I have to stick the bottle up my nose and snort just to try to get a whiff, I don't bother with testing that FO. LOL
  17. I've never successfully single wicked an apoth, either. I'm sure it could be done, but I gave up after testing a bajillion single wicks.:rolleyes2
  18. Aww those are cute!:smiley2:
  19. WSP has some great bases. :smiley2: http://www.wholesalesuppliesplus.com/Group.aspx?Tab=0&GroupTab=0&CatalogID=1&GroupID=1&GroupTitle=+Soap+Base
  20. Oh my, I'll bet that smells delish! Looks great, too.:smiley2:
  21. Me too. They sell the 5 oz here. Scroll down just a bit to see them. HTH:smiley2: http://www.glassware4gellin.com/flatlid.html
