  1. I like the second one as well. Nice looking scrubs!
  2. I was thinking of trying the feathering palm wax from BCN...is that a good one to start with? I have read a few things about the palm wax from MC too, but I am closer to BCN....
  3. I have to agree with this! I was checking it out the other day and had to close the window because I was at work and just laffin!!! Nice work girl!
  4. what kind are you using (if you dont' mind) and is it hard to wick? I've been using a parasoy blend in my jjs and have had good results with the eco wicks....
  5. does anyone use palm wax for containers? I've never used palm wax at all and don't do pillars, but I like the crystal look of palm. Is it a decent container wax? I use JJ and square masons....
  6. I love those molds! I wish molds weren't so expensive.
  7. I love that! I've never seen a carved candle like that before! What a great job!
  8. I've been using the soy votive wax from GL and love it but they recently changed it and I haven't tried the new stuff yet. HTH
  9. I wondered about that....I will have to check what wattage she is using. Thanks!!!
  10. I have been testing a soy votive wax from GL for my tarts and I love it, I get great throw and think they are just great! I gave some to my sister to test and she said the one doesn't melt. It's a cake bake FO from BC. I use a melter that runs on a tealight and hers is an electric melter. Now, there are other scents I have given her to test for me that melt fine, just this one so far. Has anyone had that happen? Can I add anything to this to make the melt point a little lower? Uggh! I really love the throw, but not if it won't melt in an electric melter.
  11. I've found that you get a better hot throw with this wax if you let it cure for at least a week before you burn it. JMO
  12. I thought I saw something from her..,..thanks..I'll look.
  13. does anyone have specific wholesale terms and conditions that they would be willing to let me look at? I am trying to do up a contract and I just feel like I am missing something. I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
  14. JOAnns has a lot of homespun but if you live near a walmart they have it for $2 a yard and they have a pretty good selection. Both places have a person that cuts it for you.
  15. I dont know if this is what you are looking for but she has some really nice silicone bulbs... http://www.primsiliconebulbshoppe.com/
  16. I made some of the fish soaps with the little plastic fish in them, they are so cute...but what I am wondering is if there needs to be a special warning on them because of the little fish being a potential choking hazard to children?
  17. I have got my first home candle - B&B party booked! Any sage advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I have a list of party games, what I am bringing and the sales "pitch", I know how I am going to set up my display, etc....just wondering if anyone has anything to offer from experience. Thanks!
  18. I haven't played with that one yet, but just might have to now. Pam W, where do you find Indian Sandalwood? That sounds wonderful!
  19. I bought from them once, I thought shipping was pretty quick and reasonable considering they are in Canada. Great customer service.
  20. a patent is good for 10 years after that time other companies can make similar products. That's why Tylenol has so many generics now. They were exclusive for 10 years then the generics move in.
  21. for a site forum? If so, do you like it? Recommend it? Is it difficult to use?
  22. Have you had better luck after these cured longer? I have had really good luck with the majority of the oils I have tested, but I let mine sit at least 7 days before I burn.
  23. I would also ask if there is electricity provided (if you require it). Some times they dont supply or charge a fee for it.
