  11. Yes, calwax cb30 can hold up to 15% fragrance load, at that much it's a challenge to wick, but it makes wonderful tarts by using it 3 to 1 with their pillar wax which they say can hold high fragrance loads as well..... Melissa
  12. I use Calwax CB30 for containers and CB10 for pillars. Pete is great in the customer service area and is very helpful if you have a question. I understand he is carrying a new blend, I think it's Accu-Blend...haven't tried it becaise I like the Calwax I am using (right now, anyway!) His shipping is fast and reasonable...give them a try! hth Melissa
  13. Ok, felt really cocky after my first pillar...not so now...I use calwax cb10 (10% soy 90% para) heat to 190, pour @ 160... 1oz pp and liquid color...why did it crack? Any thoughts would be appreciated!!! thanks, Melissa

  15. Here's a picture of my first pillar!!! What do ya think?? This is after approx. 3 hours. I'm using parasoy blend and a 1/0 square braid wick. Do I need to wick up?? TIA, Melissa
  16. No real advice, but lots of sympathy! In the last 8 months or so I have poured 2 candles that didn't have wet spots (until I let them sit in a cold car for 6 hours!) but all in all I like CB30 although it's the only 1 pour container wax I've used. Good luck and maybe someone has a solution....in the meantime, I'll try my hand at pillers!!! Melissa
  17. Michaels has them, usually 3/1.00 on sale, also, the always handy Wal Mart hth Melissa
  18. Hi Sabrina! If you're just going to do tarts and this sealer is cheap, I don't see why it wouldn't work...are you using the bags or tubing? Either would work I think. HTH Melissa
  19. Don't know if it's normal or not, but thats the way my votives burn! Drove me nuts till I was told to use a tight fitting container.. hth Melissa
