  3. Let me try this one more time :rolleyes2 What I am asking, basically, do you treat a 30/70 more like a soy or a parrafin.....or do you just punt ???
  4. OK, I'm new to this game, and maybe just a little slow . I finally e-mailed the manufacturer of the wax I am using to try to figure out why I can't get the fantastic scent throw I should be getting (manufacturer says up to 15% scent load is possible) I've tried almost everything from 5% up to 15%. So my question is do I treat this more like a soy wax, using scents that work better in soy, or more like a parrifin(sp) or fly by the seat of my pants and keep testing testing testing....ANY advice would be greatly appreciated!!! Melissa
  5. Peppermint, I haven't been doing this very long, but I know what you mean about anything 3" or more..they are a bugger! I don't add anything but color and scent..cb30 has all the additives already in it except uv..HTH :rolleyes2 Melissa
  6. Peppermint...I' had fairly good luck with HTP's...am now testing premeir 700's..they look promising HTH..Melissa:cheesy2:
  7. does someone have the addy for om? :rolleyes2
  8. I would startwith htp104...cb30 is kinda hard to wick, I'm a newbie but have used those same conainers, wax and wicks and the 104 seems to work the best...the un-anchored wick thing is the best idea!! does save tons of wax. I have found only one place to buy cb30..where do you get yours? HTH! Melissa:p
  9. 3 1/2in at top, about 4 1/2 in the middle
  10. when double wicking a 16oz candy jar, how do you determine what size wicks to use? I use Calwax CB30 and have been told I need to go up one size. Been trying with HTP 1312 but still doesn't burn completly across so I thought I'd try the double wicking thing. Any ideas? Melissa (The rookie):rolleyes2
  11. Hi My votives burn really well the first 2 hours and then they develop a small split on one side and the melt pool drains to the bottom of the container. I am using CB 10 with ultra core wicks...HELP!!!!
