  1. HI, I just did a search and came up with this link. http://www.dollardays.com/i-151026-n-0/wholesale-set-of-5-2-and-3-steps-cardboard-risers.html Not sure if that is the one you want or not. HTH Pat
  2. Thank you. And just send the addresses! The scents are all wonderful and thanks to all on here that directed me to those great suppliers. :highfive:
  3. Thanks for looking beyond the haziness. Its actually a really good camera. Canon Rebel K2. Next time I will let the DBF take the pics. The heart is a tart inlaid into the wax when it just started to set up.
  4. These are the 4 ounce tins that are shallow. Again, too shaky with the camera..:embarasse Thanks for looking http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l314/prcandles/4oztins.jpg
  5. These are some really bad pictures of some candles that I have been playing with. The red green and white is Raspberry Clover Tea the green yellow and white is Bird of Paradise and the pink and white is Vanilla Plum. Thanks for looking http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l314/prcandles/23colorpillars.jpg
  6. There were a couple of other threads like this. I think that Goo Gone was recommended. And maybe one of the orange type cleaners. A search might turn that up. Some one even said they used a spoon to pry it up. HTH Pat
  7. I have put it in KY pillar blend and the KY para/soy. Both are wonderful. The pillar was strong right away, the para/soy was strong enough in a covered tin to be able to over power two different orchid rains in a box that I shipped. And I didn't even use close to a full ounce per pound in either. HTH Pat
  8. How long are you waiting to do the repour? I usually do a repour once the candle has set up and isn't liquid anymore in the middle. Rarely do I do more than one repour, just depends on the size of the pillar. HTH Pat

    Ng

I got the one ounce from NG. Its not bad, not really strong on citrus though. It does have a fruity smell, with a really light floral like sweet pea. HTH Pat
  10. The stretchy kind is like saran wrap, I think. There are different types and gauges as well. I am not sure if it is "shrinkable" though. Packco has the different types. Maybe you can check on there. I don't really know. I get my bags from AH/RE. HTH a little Pat
  11. I don't use them, but there was a place in Florida that had the shrink for gel pies. Let me see if I can find the link for you. HTH http://www.gelcandleshop.com/candlepackaging.htm Don't know if this is what you are looking for, but good luck in your search. Pat
  12. Or they could be black chunks up against the glass with a white overpour.
  13. Hi and welcome to the board. If you take a look at the veggie wax section, at the top is a red topic that has the scents that others have used in soy. HTH Pat
  14. So very pretty! Even without all your tools of the trade. Keep inspiring us! :highfive:
  15. No help here on technique, but there was a first and main co-op for these. Seems the bears that have a little longer hair work for them. You might also check walmart, target, places that sell plush. HTH a little. Pat
  16. Ok, in case anyone is still interested... The Strawberry Kiwi from NG is wonderful. Neither scent overpowers the other. Kind of reminds me of a strawberry candy. The Paradise Reef does remind me of something after all. It smells to me like the blue Irish Spring soap. It isn't a soapy smell, just smells like that to me. The Summer Sorbet is really good too. Has a strong mango, maybe papaya smell to it. Lovely is a good way to put it. The BRV is good too. So far, so good with these. I did put the Sun Moon & Stars into wax as well. Just waiting for it to cool enough to get a hint of it. HTH anyone Pat
  17. Hopefully it will be quick for you as well. I placed my order with them before noon on the 22nd and recieved it on the 25th. Then again, I am in southern Florida.:rolleyes2 Pat
  18. Ian, The ZB is for body safe. I just ordered 10 from NG as well, and the Orchid Rain is good for a floral. If you decide to try fruits, you can't go wrong with some of the others there as well. So far out of the 10 I picked, I haven't found one yet that isn't wonderful. Happy testing! Pat
  19. I use a pillar blend when I made my chunks. Its been a while, so sorry, I don't remember which. Lately I have been using KY pillar blend and its a little too opaque for the chunks IMO. But if you want to try them, just use what you have closest to you. A lot of the suppliers will tell you which wax works well for which application. The higher melt point waxes do well for the chunks and over pour. I used a silicone mold to make my own chunks. Poured colored wax, cut up, shoved into molds, over pour clear. Worked well for me. Good luck, they are alot of fun to make. HTH Pat
  20. Hopefully, if they go with the tins, they will be more of gifts for the guests. When I get a proper camera shot of them, I will post better pictures. They are just over 3" in dia, and just over 1" in height. Thanks for your input!
  21. I had a strawberry peach blend but I don't like it. So I mixed it with vanilla berry. Can call it berry peachy, cause it took out the strawberry pretty much. I personally think the ginger would be a good mixer too. Pat
