  1. Strawberries and Champagne and Secret Crush are nice.
  2. Good point. I don't know about them losing their scent, but it would come through the bag and might be a little overpowering if they're all set out. Cello then.... lol.
  3. A mesh bag sounds nice. Maybe a printed cello bag, depends on the wedding theme and decor, I suppose.
  4. I personally don't think some frosting is second rate at all. It's the nature of the wax and it has no effect on the quality of the candle. I'm sure many people here make truly amazing, mildly frosted, soy candles.
  5. First Time? I like Love Spell, but if you're going for slightly sexual then I don't know...
  6. more than 1 oz but not more than 1.5, depends on the oil.
  7. I don't use paraffin, but I love NG. Great customer service and terrific oils at reasonable prices. I like Heaven and Jovan Musk a lot, and their caramel apple and strawberry kiwi are great, too.
  8. I have used Coconut Banana Blast from Peak and Banana Split from the Candle Source, I like them both.
  9. If you have a brochure or scent list play it up in there. Include scent descriptions so they at least have some idea of what to expect. I like the idea of samples, too.
  10. I use the Bavarian Thin Mint and LOVE it, but I call it Chocolate Mint. I also like the Moroccan Orange Clove very much. Spiced Apple is good, but I'm not a fan of the Spruce. Makes me a little sick.
  11. I mixed a whole buttload of samples, everything I had no use for. It stank really badly... so my answer to your question is NO... lol.
  12. Candle Man, I know exactly where you're coming from with the pricing, and I know you're right. I'm just saying, for my area, it wouldn't sell. It's unfortunate, because the basket (or whatever product) could well be worth more, it just would not sell here.
  13. I forgot, it's a beautiful basket! Great finds!
  14. Speaking for my area alone, I would expect someone to pay $20, but it would never sell for $36.50. Sorry, Candle Man. Again, this is JUST in my area.
  15. Personally, I think it was candle nose. I did mix very well and, if anything, the top layer should have been weaker, right? It had to be reheated before topping up the candle... Thanks for the replies, it's reassuring.
  16. OK, here's what I did: strawberry kiwi from NG in ecosoya cd advanced. Melted and added oil as usual, then seperated the wax. Colored some deep pink and a little green. Poured the pink then added the green on top later. The person who tested it for me said excellent scent throw at the beginning, from the green part then once the green was burned out, nothing from the pink. This perplexes me, since the wax/oil combo was IDENTICAL until the color was added. Dye blocks from the Candle Source, if that matters. Can the color have that much effect?
  17. I love everything I have from them. These are the ones I use: God's Love Heaven Jovan Musk for Women Strawberry Kiwi Caramel Apple
  18. The exchange rate is in your favor. Customs can be a b*tch, though. Ask everyone I've sold to on Ebay....
  19. I don't think it is. I have a Hawaiian White Ginger here and also the NG Hawaiian Ginger, they are very different. You might want to start with a sample to be sure.
  20. It's still fun 5 months later for me... LOL. Haven't been at it that long, so I probably don't count.
  21. I charge $6 for 12 tealights, $5 for 4 votives. That's Canadian, though... lol.
