  1. I am wanting my little girl to be a witch this year for Halloween but can't seem to find a good pattern for a tutu. Does anyone have any advice?
  2. Yes I am making a fq quilt, but was curious as to what a charm pack was since I couldn't find any details. Thank you for all the responses!
  3. I love biolage so please let us know how it goes!
  4. I've seen quite a bit of Hannah Montana fabric and patterns out in stores. She seems extremely popular!
  5. Ok so the "there's no such thing as a stupid question" has never applied to me...lol. I was looking for some fat quarters for a new pattern I was given and I found something called "Charm Packs". What are those?
  6. Oh yeah! That would be so awesome! I would love that!
  7. After reading this thread I just had to try knitting. I went to knittinghelp.com. Boy do I want to pull my hair out...lol. I guess I'm just not coordinated enough!
  8. Thanks y'all! I'm gonna check out both sites!
  9. Does anyone have a good link to a fabric place online? By the way Hancock Fabrics is having a super sale on July 4! $1.66/yd Christmas fabric! Ok back to my question...lol. I have been to some sites, but I was just wondering if anyone ordered from anywhere in particular. TIA!
  10. I purchased this pattern from a quilting store and just can't wait to try it! Has anyone else used this pattern? http://www.materialgirldesigns.com/giftbags.html
  11. I'm doing wedding favors right now too! The bride picked a scent exclusively made for a little shop, however I duped it, since it was her fav. Its a mix of vanilla, cinnamon, amaretto, and almond. I'm making votives and putting them in little acetate boxes. I'm wrapping ribbon personalized with their name and date around the box with a little bow. I'll post pics when I am done!
  12. I use J223 and have always used zinc.
  13. My fundrasiers are primary the 16oz Masons. They sell great! Plus I can get the jars at Big Lots and cut my shipping cost. Edited to say: I'm all the way in TX. I hope the previous post lands the FR!
  14. Ok I'm totally out of Modge Podge. So I read online that you could make your own by using 3 parts Elmer's Glue to 1 part water. Has anyone tried this? I'm afraid it will go up in flames! Any other ideas?
  15. Can anyone tell me where to find these? I have been all over the web.
  16. Lots of people do that. That way they don't waste an entire candle on a wick that doesn't work.
  17. My son's class...and this is gross...had a mouse get into a tote that was out in their shed and have babies! Well in that tote was some vital classroom materials. One of which is a piece of felt with ocean creatures printed on it. I was asked to wash it and cut out the animals. How the heck can I do it without ruining it?
  18. I got a sewing machine for Christmas too! Actually two, but one is going back...lol. My mom and MIL had the same idea! Its going to take me forever to learn how to use it! I'm so bad with instructions! I also make infant bowbands, and hairbows for fun.
  19. Have you ever just watched something so awful you couldn't take your eyes off it? Well I'm not sure if this was ever posted on here or not but here goes. See if its not like fingernails on a chalkboard to you too! http://www.nuscentscandle.com/video.htm

  24. Congrats! I've heard nothing but great things about your candles. I've even seen you on an interview on Channel 10 news a couple of years ago. Now take some time to relax!
