I figured out eyeballs to use!!!! Marbles!!!! Wahoo! I'll post pics with the eyes later when I've painted the marbles.

Hiya Bruce, have missed yah lot's! I scented the orange with Pumpkin Spice and the white Pumpkin Vanilla Creme.

OH man, sometimes on some of those molds you really have to go slow and becareful getting them out. I have a pineapple mold that only once I got out unbroken. Sometimes they have slits down the side to help the release. I do love holiday molds, so I understand trying to find good ones.

Oh wow cool eyeballs!! I tried putting the chocolate kind in the sockets but they didnt work so I guess the hardboiled eggs are out LOL

Ack he's sitting under the skull mold now. LOL! Oh I like the idea of a green skull so much better then black. That black was hard to do and the skull will probably never burn. I'm trying to find someone eyeballs to put in the sockets LOL

Forgive me but I have not made a candle probably since last November. Broke out some wax and decided to have some fun. Here's my skull.

How do you make them? LOL! I'm sorry I really did look thru all the posts on canes, did I miss one that might have instructions? Or can someone give me a starting point so I can make a lot of mistakes trying to make one of these!

Yep lot's of pillars molds which for me is great! There are a few, very few fo's that I do like, but the wax which changed when they went with their own blend went to pot as far as I'm concerned. When I first started making candles years ago (cant believe I can say that now) I used a wax by BP and absolutely loved it, then they stopped carrying it. Guess my heart will always be with 1343.

Hiya Donita! I just ordered from Genwax and to be honest I'm just not impressed. Part of the reason I ordered from them is that they are really close and it was convenient but I really love my 1343!!!! When I was making candles on a more regular basis I found 1343 to be so consistent, no surprises. The wax from Genwax I guess I will need to play with much more to get to where I'm comfortable with it. HOpefully that will be soon. Oh I should say it's not the first time trying out their waxes, it's just been a long time since I last ordered from them.

I still have your number Trish so I'll look at my calendar and get in touch with yah. We'll throw the kids in the pool! I'm so excited to be around someone touching wax these days. I really miss it! I ordered two new molds from Janet and am itching to make some pumpkins!!!
