  1. One of my jar candles wants to date one of your pillars.
  2. They have a few different soy waxes. Not sure if it is a series of 415 or not. ProductMelting PointDescriptionPack SizeLP402115-119 FPure Soy Blend. 3. They were different batches of the same wax. It is not a exact science and each batch can vary slightly. Its nature.
  4. Gloves.:highfive: But half the time I dont wear them either. A mint soap may work also.
  5. The links she posted was very useful to explain the grades. There is still fishy pricing by some middle suppliers and prices for the same stuff that are all over the spectrum of prices. Diff manufacturers also have 2 grades and at diff prices so it comes back to one answer. SAMPLE.
  6. Since Mac is not a scent that throws well in SOY, Is there a straight apple type that does? I had a couple Grannys that were duds also.
  7. I did find out that premium to some is ones needed for Soy, the old oil formulations do not work well in soy and had to be stronger.
  8. Sounds more like a marketing gimmick, if the oils are not diluted, then there should be no reason for this non-sense. I know in Flavors, there is a 2x,5x,10x(fold) such as orange and vanilla extracts but in this case, I dont see why its needed unless you want to pay more for something that you dont have to. I think using a 1oz of something is better then 1.5oz so there is less inerts in the wax but i dont think thats the case usually. If its not CUT, it should be strong enough. My Op only.
  9. Candleman is basically right. There are exceptions if they have a excess of a few oils but 25lbs is typically what you need to order, I have done this twice and plan on 3 more this summer for the fall and winter. You will cut your price by 50% or more.
  10. Just skip the carrot cake. German cake never sold, but may be my area. Hot cocoa's hot throw is just average, everything is excellent that i tried.
  11. I have those jars also. I used them for my EO line. I have had a slight problem with them, they seem to break around the top easily. I had 2 just from the customers putting the lids back on after smelling them. I haven't had any other problems since. Have any of you using these jars had any problems like this? I was thinking maybe the glass was thinner than my other types. I like the style. They are nice for my EO line, sets them apart from the regular line.
  12. I actually liked Beanpods, not sure if it threw, and Tyler has a great one, so the oil is out there somewhere.
  13. I didnt wait for my tea to cure, so you shouldnt either, its not that type of scent.
  14. That does well, I am testing it myself now, I think there is just a sweetness and no pineapple scent, lucky the orange is there to save it. I will have to burn a few more times though.
  15. I just sampled someone elses, could smell up the white house, its so strong. How come Beanpods is so bad?
  16. So nobody tried the Pineapple? She noted on her website that she isnt keeping the mac apple, not strong enough. The new peach if it is the Yankee dupe of fresh peach should be good but i havent tried it yet. Her scent list grows slower then most but she has almost no duds compared to those who have 200 scents and have 50 duds for example.
  17. Why do people brag about this? I got it in and its too sweet. Smells like Gum, and i had a cutomer say after the 3rd burn it lost most of its scent. She buys alot of candles and this was the only complaint, it was used a mixture and i know what i mixed it with throws so it has to be the pineapple.
  18. The ones we use now are nice but some customers want more muted shades that i cant do with the regular dyes. Who should we try?
  19. Typically it from the wick moving and burning on the side of the glass from my past burns.
  20. To get a full melt pool you would have to double wick it.
