  1. Thats a great show, we did 2 shows and have nothing to show for it this weekend, people are buying the stupid wax dipped bears but they seem to be candled out for the most part, the dips (any food) and tee-shirts even at $20.00 were flying out though, jewlery, the stupid glass bottle cheese boards at $35.00 a clip, a few other things but thats about it. some nice fake florals also did well.
  2. 730 Wick should be used in that mini jar and it should burn for 25 hours not 15.
  3. If the typical wholesale line for a good line is 2x your cost, make it 3x for the upscale line. That is my guess, or 25% to 50% more then your other candles, use some more expensive oils for the line though. Keep the jars no more then 12 ounces too.
  4. You never know, I had 2, one was $6,200 and the other $1,200 and it was about the same number of kids and the same grade but different towns, the lady of the smaller one said they try alot of things and its the same 10 parents doing all the work, its up to both the kids and parents to help sell the stuff.
  5. Then again, there are several E.0.'s that are less money then F.O.
  6. Anything Sandlewood has been growing on me. (not mixed with Rose) PUKE
  7. She was sexy in that black leather cat suit. OPPS!
  8. Since most of us do not have a line of credit, I would suggest, considering they get the money from the fundraiser, that they pay you first, taking the 30% to 50% out of it so that you can then order the supplies needed to complete the order, you will have some to start but not to finish, and you cant guess what they are going to buy either. So, I am finishing up our second this week, (well the paper will be givien to me, no clue what was sold) and then I will order anything extra that may be needed, I did preorder wax and jars prior only cause I had monies left over from the last fundraiser. Oils, Pretty good there. Good luck.
  9. Seems hard to get, only in white unglossed? A high gloss would be ok, but clear would be great, havent found it yet. The cost was .14 plus plate charge of $260 and thats just a blank label.
  10. They made c-3 cause c-1 had more flaws then GW BUSH, then you have c-3 which is improved yet still keep it white and then whenever they get around to C-5 maybe all the problems will go away? :rolleyes2
  11. Very nice website, you are short changing yourself and not charging enough for a nice product but i cant twist your arm either.
  12. Some machine i suppose, Beanpod and swancreep do them. Beanpods arent strong enough and swans you have to scoop them. People want tarts, the beads just scare them or something...
  13. Have to make more wax bears and snowmen, at some shows they are outselling the candles. Have to get more stock of christmas scents in the store. Should get bombed with another fundraiser early this week, who knows what it will be for? Watch the Giants kick butt and get ready for the BEARS next week to show who the better team is........ Damn Lily of the Valley is still selling. And it isnt just old ladies buying it.
  14. SYSCO and USFOODS being the 2 top dogs, give a candle to the owner or manager and they will order it for you and the big plus is NO FREIGHT, HA!
  15. Damn i forget, but they were alot cheaper then that, not sure if it was Ganz or Penco but Penco isnt in business anymore.....
  16. Good topic, the tester i did in white. The upscale line i am doing white but just cause, i will try a orange type since i have a new dye to play with. I do not like the new Happy scent.
  17. Once you use this scent, you will throw mulled cider in the garbage where it belongs. Yeah i know harsh........
  18. WEDDING DAY,MAC APPLE, CHRISTMAS TREE, There are alot that wont tarnish a white bear, dont cop out... Dont do spiced pear, a nice URINE color will appear,,,,, haha Baby fresh and fresh linen, lavender, there are many that do not discolor....
  19. Lilac, lavender are year round sellers, dont always go by seasons, that is only a benchmark. Cucumber melon is a fruit that sells year round also.
