I wore a so-so reject FO in my hair the other day. Sniffing the FO in the bottle I had thought, "Meh, not bad, but nothing special, will pass for now," when it showed up in the mail, has been sitting on the shelf for some months. Figured eh, why not, and took a q-tip and just added a few streaks of it to my hair. 3 compliments+inquiries by the end of the day on my "shampoo" lol. It was just the egyptian musk from naturesgarden, too, haha.
I saw a fragrance bottle take the finish off my dining room table..I would be afraid to put it in my hair...

Thank you, I did just that today, and my cart stayed intact. I did take advantage of their sale. As I remember right, Lone Star's FOs are kind of a "hit and miss", but since I haven't poured candles in a few years, I fail to remember which ones. Good thing I'm getting them so cheap
They are hit and miss like many suppliers...but there are some fantastic ones! What have you got in your cart?
-
I give you a lot of credit Trappeur! I couldn't do it ...I'd be like the soup Nazi...No candles for you! ....Although I might be quite sweet to her face...once I get in the car and far away I'd let her have it ahahaha It really makes you appreciate the great accounts you do have.

Is it just me, or does their cart just empty out while you're in the middle of shopping? Frustrating, to say the least!
I think if you register /sign in...then it will save items in your basket

red current votivo sounds great...What does blueberry verbena smell like? Can I ask what you mix the woodsmoke with Moonshine. Currently doing a 50 / 50 blend 464 & 4630.
Also looking at fragrances from Just Scents but you know how it is every time I go on the site with the intention of removing some from my basket I end up adding more hahah

thanks for the input Moonshine I know you like sweetcakes and was hoping you would respond. Any others from SC that you might recommend?

- Has anyone tried any of these fragrances from Backwoods in a soy blend?

- .- Honey Gingerbread
- .- Pink Pepperberry
- .- Sea Salt Breeze
- - Breeze in the Keys
- - Sandalwood Cardamon
- - Tamarind & Ginger

hey Trappeur was it straight 464 you used with the CD 14? Would you also use the CD wick for a blend of 464 and 4630?

Love most Florals although I have had a few horrific ones! really not to fond of bakery smells or vanilla or pumpkin in candles..... I like linen smells & green earthy smells I hate anything that smells like men's cologne , perfumey, or incensey....love mint in soaps but not in candles
-
do you blend anything with the avocado and sea salt Countrygal?
-
I suspect if you contact them and explain the reasoning behind your concerns they will understand . I would not think that they are trying to be deceitful with the weight ...but rather just ignorant of Regulations. I also think they should not be saying poured by company X ....but poured for Company X...I think its a simple correction....Good LUCK Traps...and let us know how it turns out
I've seen your candles..I might be tempted to put my name on them too

great website iansmommaya....I would only suggest a little color boost to make the blue pop and a little highlight to make the backround glow a tiny bit that's all otherwise a fantastic site I really love it

Hey Sunday! I really like JS Wood Sage and Sea Salt and Earl Gray and Cucumber. Both are fresh type scents that sell really well.
Thanks Soshiegirl They're definitely on my list!...

Thanks JC and Sara S, it helps knowing even a little bit about the scents....perhaps I will have to learn how to make CP soap
Sounds like a great haul though!!
it was a great haul Sara and I'm tickled pink thinking about all the fun I'm going to have...it was a bonus that came with two commercial melters...and I'm really excited to use it...and them.

Has anyone tried the Jo Malone scents from Just Scents? I'm not a big fan of perfumey candles but I love Jo Malone and would like to make some soy blend candles with some of the JM fragrances that Just scents carries . ....or have you used a Jo Malone scent from a different supplier? any thoughts would be much appreciated

I thought that Candle Science was now shipping to Canada? ...Guess I was wrong... I contacted them and it turns out still NO! Not such a deal after all!
