Hey Sunday!  Oh no problem.   All the images are off Zazzle.  I do quite a bit of modifications to mine though.

AHHH ok now I understand...I really wasn't sure where I would get images from since they do not have an image library....but now I see they have a large selection of ready made stickers that can be altered completely in order personalize them. I see you've worked some magic with those labels ..it's a talent!:)

  2. Another fantastic Label!

    RED # 7 is my Favorite   second choice light sage 5 & 6 ( I couldn't spot the difference between 5 & 6)

Since Zazzle doesn't provide an  image library the way vista does...Where do you find your images  Trapp? (if it's a secret I understand) They are always spot on for your labels!!

  3. awww that's sad to hear talltayl...I really get swayed by the romantic write-ups...gets me all excited ...would really like to make some candles out of some of these scents...just for friends and family, but kinda suspected I might be let down....although never having smelled the original 😉...maybe just a little test

  4.  Has anyone ever tried the more pricey fragrances offered by some suppliers?...I see Sweetcakes has a ermes Eau des Merveilles (type) Fragrance for 80.00 per lb.....well I'm curious...have you tried it?....was it worth it.?

Which ones have you tried... ?....

  5. I Love Audrey and Seymour!!...haven't thought of little shop of horrors  in years

Feed me, Seymour... Feed me all night long - That's right, boy! - You can do it! ...Feed me.

You are a fantastic artist and I CAN"T WAIT to see your paper mache!!!

I have 3 suppliers. And i only get 6 fragrances from one of them. I keep reading reviews here too, but I have successfully refrained from branching out so far. So far being the key!

Very impressive Sebleo...I wish I had that kind of self control...but it may be too late for me.

So tell us who you have chosen  as your three supplier?

The problem I have is - everytime I narrow my supplier list down or my list of possible scents down I get to reading on here and add more - if I ever hit the lottery every penny of it will disappear immediately into FOs

I started keeping a spread sheet of fragrances that  have favorable reviews on this website...probably not a good idea ...but fun. So now when I see a fragrance I just want I go to my handy dandy spread sheet and see what else I would like from that supplier.

  8. Enter your Paypal cc# as a Mastercard, I never had a problem with it. It acts as a credit card if they don't accept Paypal. Have you tried this? In the drop down menu on the site, just click on the Mastercard logo and enter the card number. Should work just fine.

Who knew Hopie! Thats great news...will definitely give it a try.

My pet peeve😬....casually filling my cart with dreamy fragrances...only to find the supplier does not ship to Canada...or they want an astronomical  amount for shipping...either way takes the wind out of your sails!

  9. Mock orange is an evergreen plant also known as Philadelphus. I think its named mock orange because it smells similar ...but not quite like orange blossoms...I agree with Candybee , your best bet might be an orange blossom scent

  10. I purchased a ginger and Cardamom body wash from Bath and Body Works around Christmas and fell in love with the fragrance....I was disappointing when I was unable to buy more...turns out it was just a winter product they where testing ...lets hope it returns this fall....but in the meantime I would love to make some candles  since I have no experience with bath products. Does anyone know where I could find such a fragrance???:)

  11. ...I just kept my eye out on craigslist then one day there was an add...I was super lucky finding the melters Hopie.  Lucky too to have a hubby that would drive for two days to pick them up with me...and he didn't ask any questions when I told him the price . ...for now I have not even tried them out yet!

The other business is a Vintage wedding rental company...so I have more china teacups etc. than I will ever need!! I was hoping to sell those on etsy...not looking to sell candles on etsy...I have enough local markets to keep me busy if I want....the rest of the rentals I think I can sell through craigslist...one bite ate a time :D

Don't let that learning curve dissuade you, if you have tenacity and drive to realize your dreams, you can DO THIS! When I first started out online, it took me three YEARS to start to generate enough to quit my job. I got all excited when I accomplished just ten listings at ebay....before I knew it, I had 200 listings, and had expanded to Amazon and Bonanza!

AHHH Hopie you give me hope...slow and steady...After making candles on the stove for 2 years I broke down and  bought two commercial melters along with tons of containers and fragrances  from someone giving up their business...I don't really need two but they are fun to look at !  Since my husband has allergies I can't make anything  in the house...I'm fortunate enough to have a separate  cottage studio on the property but at the moment its filled with a second hobby/business. So I'm busy trying to figure out how to liquidate all that ... Tried setting up an etsy account but it was right when we decided to move and now going back to look at it 2 years later I find it overwhelming!!....why is it so much easier to bring things into the house and so much work getting rid of stuff!! In the meantime I just plan ...research and plan some more

I just loved your story about quitting your job...I agree it would have been great to see her face...bet they had to pick her jaw off the ground  tehe:laugh2:
