  4. Okay! you all nice people I really need some good answers here. my question is when you need to test burn a new FO how many jars do you test burn, what I am trying to say is lets say I want to make A 16 oz jar a 8oz jar and an 4 0z do I wick and fill them with wax and test all of them at the same time or is there a different way that it's done please help oh!

I almost forget I am using CBA wax Thanks:confused:

  5. grama please can you let me how they test burn I am really interested to know how they turn out with just the coconut oil and nothing else like usa UV stabilizer and charmcandleco are you steel using the same 50/50 wax

with only UV stabilizer you guys sorry about all this questions :)

    Thanks

  6. I have been using the CB advance for about four months. Some scents have Ok HT but most don't. So I did some research and decided to use C-3. But I still had about 9 pounds of the CB advance left so I tried mixing the two waxes together. With out anything else but a UV stabilizer. I sold two yesterday with the love spell Fo and the customer loved it. Even her husband liked the smell. The CT was awesome as well as the HT. The type of wicks I use are wood wicks. I have not really tried any other type of wicks. I just really love the wood wicks. But good luck because I know how crazy it can get testing.

Thanks for the reply I thing I am going to try them both :yay:

  7. I just got my order of C-3 wax in. I had been using CB Advance, and just could not get the HT I wanted. So I mixed the two 50%-50% with only 1oz of Fo per pound of wax. The smell was so strong. I'm just so happy that I have finally got the CT and HT I was looking for. If I were to only use 1oz of Fo per pound with the CB alone it would not have hardly smelled at all. :yay: :yay:

Hi! charmcandleco how long have you been doing the CB advance with no mixing

and when you mix the C3 with the CB advance did you mix anything else with it, and what type of wick you are using I hope you don't mine me asking all this questions, I like to know but before I start mixing and testing

  8. Hi! everybody a friend of mine give me 30 pounds of this wax

Nature wax by Cargill the thing is I don't know nothing about this wax and I am already using CB advance did anybody ever mix the CB with the Nature by Cargill and what are your thoughts about it

And is this the wax you call C3

  9. Hi! Stella what I am trying to say is I am using an 10 oz Apothecary jar

and I pour my wax with out a wick then when it cools down I insert the wick in, and start testing now if my wick Burns fine up until it reaches the bottom about half an inch or a bit more and then it moves and drowns, My question is do I let the jar to cool down and insert another wick Or by that time I know my candle will burn Okay until the end:confused:

  10. Okay! I have been testing candles for almost a Month And I thing I Finally got it thanks to all of the good help you nice people. Anyway my question now is if I wick a candle with out the pin to test a new scent once the candle riches between half - to 1 inch on the bottom of the jar the wick moves and drowns. Now do I use another wick or my test burn is Okay. and try on a bigger jar I hope you know what I am talking about and somebody can answer my question

    Thanks

  11. What do you mean when you say the wick is drowning? Is it just burning straight down the center of the candle for a bit, leaving lots of wax on the sides, and then extinguishing?

Darbla; What I mean is the candle burns fine Poul melt is fine every three hours until the 4th burn then the flame gets smaller and smaller and it starts drowning now if I dump some wax out then everything is OK! I hope my explaining is OK!:)
