  1. Candles such as a budduh (sp) or other types with odd shapes can never be wicked to burn correctly. Those are basically considered a "novelty" candle and is more for looks than burning. You can wick and burn it, but it will not be a good burn. JMO. Good Luck

  2. I think it might be a bit too suggestive for my targeted consumers! Thanks!

Well, who are your targeted consumers?? Is it your distaste for the name or theirs? I think a wide variety of people would go for that name. Unless they are Nun's....certainly then you could call it something like "Lick my elbow" and then it would just sound like they were at the church social and Dear Sister So~n~So leaned into someone else's plate and got mayo on her sleeve.

    I'm kidding :P

    How about:

    Tropical Paradise

    Tropical Dreams

    Citrus Splash

    Tropical Heaven

  3. I've been told by a couple of experienced soaper's here to pay more attention to the Iodine level....between 60 & 70 is considered good. Now I'm sure there are differing opinions...but so far this has worked very well for me. The sooz is a great place to spend a day....or 2! ;)

  4. I just zap mine with a heat gun and wipe them out with a paper towel. If I'm using large molds, I scrunch up a paper towel, shove it to the bottom with a long wooden spoon and then swish the paper towel around inside the mold with the handle of the spoon. Oh, and I hold the mold with an old towel so I don't burn my hand holding it.

    Ditto what Fern said :highfive:

  5. Wow, I'm starting to see that the countless emails that I've received indicating that there are quite a few frustrated old maids on here, is actually very true.

Frustrated old maids....NOT IN MY CASE....because this OLD BROAD smiles EVERY SINGLE DAY because she searched and searched and found all her answers and can make one kick a$$ candle!!! ROFLMAO

    Whats your excuse hmmmmm :P
