  1. I love Gabriella Sabatini. Unfortunately the only place I can find it anymore is online. It's been my fav for years.
  2. I think I know what your talking about. I sold some votives to two girls at work. One of them came back and said she loved them and bought some more. She also told me the other girl that bought from me came in when I wasnt there and said hers burned down into nothing but a pancake in about 30 min. Well, that only tells me one thing. She put them on a plate, lit them and let them go. Even tho there are proper burning instructions on them ppl just dont read. I use IGI 4794 and I love that wax, but have thought of using pillar wax just to make them a little more idiot proof.
  3. Thanks! That helps alot. I've had this mold for a year and finally going to use it. Now i'm off to make soap.
  4. I have the one that is about 15-16 inches long and has 3 seperate/equal sections. Does anyone know how much wet soap this holds? Thanks!
  5. I really like it. Nice and simple, but very pretty. Easy to read font.
  6. They look very nice and creamy. Good job! I'd wait a little longer for them to cool before doing a re-pour. I know when I first started the kit I got came with instructions that said to wait an hour. Needless to say I had to do several repours. I wait about 3 hours or until the votive mold is no longer warm to the touch to do my re-pour. Great job tho.
  7. I let mine accumulate in those big coffee cans. Once it's full I put the lid on and toss it in the garbage cans outside. HTH
  8. Willow Woods smells exactly like Peaks to me (yankme dupe) and throws like crazy in both parafin and soy. HTH

  10. The Scented Bean has a "Garden RefresMint" It's currently my favorite! I can smell a little cucumber and mint. It's nice and strong. I dont know how it compares, but man is it good!
  11. wick stickums here too. The only time i've had them come loose is when I stored my jars in the garage. High humidity in Fl. I just make sure I bring my jars in the day before i'm gonna pour.
  12. Tennessee candle is 4.25 a case and it's the best shipping I could find to Fl. HTH
  13. I dont know where you are in Fl, but none of my Wal-marts carrying them. I get mine from tennessee candle supply.
  14. I finally got in today. AND saved it to my hard drive
  15. Thanks! At least it's not just me. I will have to remember to save it to my hard drive next time.
  16. Anyone else having a problem or is it just me? lol
  17. I got so excited when I saw "purely herbal" I didnt read the 2nd part of your post. Another one I love and I have used it in cp soap is Raspberry Gauva from Scents for Soy. Yummy!
  18. That is one of my favorite scents. I haven't soaped it yet, but I use it in my whipped shea butter and lotions. One of my favs!
  19. I think Crisco is 100% Soybean oil. HTH
  20. I live in Fl and get my JJ from Tennessee Candle Supply. They have great prices and the shipping is the best for me. Of course I dont buy in that quantity. I've not found any Wal-marts near me that carry any JJ or canning jars at all. I found some at big lots but they had the grapes/flowery things on the sides. That probably didnt help ya. Sorry! lol
  21. i've been saving all mine too. I've not done it yet, but i've seen on the board where people take them and add them to their soap recipe and make confettie soap. It looks really neat. If you search the B&B gallery you will probably find some pics. HTH!
  22. I was doing a search to find out exactly what Olive "Pomace" is and found the following article. So my question is, why would you want to use Olive Pomace instead of Just Olive oil in your soaps or other B&B items? Is it because it's lighter and there for better for B&B applications?http://www.eat-online.net/english/education/olive_oil/olive_pomace_oil.htm
  23. I know I saw it on here somewhere, but now I cant find it. What does the INS #'s mean? I ran my soap recipe thru the soap calc and it gave me an INS of 129. Can someone please point me to that thread or tell me what that the INS number refers to?Thanks!
  24. I'd like to know to cause I really like that metro jar!
