  1. do you have microsoft Works? there is a task launcher, click on that if you do, it will give you a menu of tasks.. click on newsletters and flyers. There are templates in there.
  2. I cannot relate but sympathize and be amazed that you do what you do. I cannot imagine having a full time job AND doing this as a business. I feel like I am run ragged as is with keeping up with 4 kids all by myself AND doing this..
  3. no, that is tinted cocoa butter, its kinda like chocolate:rolleyes2
  4. this is the recipe I use right now, ( its changed several times with tweeking) this one is working well for me. 2 Cups Baking Soda 1 Cup Natrasorb Bath 1/2 Cup citric acid 1 Cup Epsom Salt 1/2 cup tapioca pure 5 0z melted Cocoa butter scent and color as desired Mix all dry ingrediants, add color ands cent to melted cocoa butter then add to dry ingrediants. Work cocoa butter in well by hand , you should have a play doh like consistancy. Roll or pat mixture out onto counter or work surface. Let rest a minute, it will puff a little and dry a little and make cutting easier. Cut with cookie cutters into desired shapes. Allow to dry in single layer for 48 hours. you can make a "browned" baked look by brushing on liquid color, or tinted cocoa butter, you can embellish as desired to resemble any cookie you like. tinted cocoa butter chips or beeswax can cover a multitude of of accessories
  5. the maple syrup one is just scrumptious!
  6. have you tried rolling them out and cutting with a small cookie cutter? that's what I do now.
  7. I was trying my best to get a chocolate chip .... I still need to tweek .:rolleyes2
  8. I didn't have an issue with the look, I do rustic/prim/country/homespun myself( everyone calls it something different it seems). I just felt the stuff was too big for the jar.. it over powered and obscured the jar and product.
  9. I make them similar to bubble bars, I leave out the SLSA and use citric and leave out glycerin and use melted cocoa butter.
  10. I am going to be honest, I expect others to do tha same with me. I can see some one thinking its novel, it is very unique idea, I have never seen one before. To me, my first impression was junky.. the fabric looks large and overpowering to the container.. maybe thinner fabric or a nice label on jar would make it look more professional, but if you are going for that totally homemade, kitchen craft project look, then great. I could see this sitting on my kitchen sink with soap, but not really in my bedroom or bath. This is just my personal opinion.. no offense meant in any way.
  11. I use the cinnamon frosting... I like it, I would call it a sweet, soft cinnamon , subtle and pleasant, in J223.
  12. I don't use either of those bases. I use liquid gel pigments from go planet earth, they are the best non bleeding ones I have found.
  13. Pm me please... with your website if possible.
  14. I would hazard a guess that is shea that didn't incorporate completely, I am guessing this as I just had a batch of MP with shea do the same thing.. I never had it happen before.
  15. you could mix it up with some slsa and make bubble bath powder too. I would like it, because I hate big chunky bath salts.. they look nice in containers, but I hate waiting for them to dissolve and there is always half a dozen SLOW dissolvers for whatever reason, that I always manage to sit on!
  16. I agree with those 4 as well I might swap out citrus for a "clean" scent, linen, or rain, something like that that men would use.
  17. check rusticescentuals, they have some swing out stacked lip pots.
  18. fresh baked bread, it is still hands down my favorite candle scent and my fave real life scent.
  19. my DD would love that!!! her whole room in done in leopard!
  20. I have never used their Fo's, just wanted to say honk when ya go by!!
  21. not to mentiom every time I use salt scrub.. I "forget" and shave my legs first... OWCHIE, I dont have to worry about it with sugar scrub.
  22. couldn't ya put the FO and soap in a candlelit room with soft music and hope they get together:tongue2:
  23. I add news ones ocassionally, but my business has a "theme" if you will.. so all my scents are things that come from the kitchen..fruits,baked items etc..
