  1. WSp cupcake is very nice.. esp in B&B. light and sweet but not cloying. not too heavy on vanilla.
  2. oh I never had any purchase intentions.. I dont know this supplier, their descriptions SUCK and the prices were high. This was merely for entertainment purposes for a friend:laugh2:
  3. rosemary or lemongrass would work well.
  4. no this was an FO site.... they had a a special "adult" scent section...
  5. oh no.. these are WAYYYY worse:laugh2: lick me all over is tame .
  6. I am looking for a site that had some really risque Fo names.. you had to click on a different section to see these( not SOS).. they had some pretty risque names... anyone?
  7. I had the opposite experience:laugh2: I took to candles immediately. I had very few flops, and it was like I was meant to make candles. Soap.. I thought would be easier. I am a chef for goodness sake I am used to doing things by weight and things formulary, its chemistry too, my best subject! Soap was way tougher for me.
  8. wsp has them for 6.00 a piece.. if you loo around you can find these in MANY dollar stores. familt dollar, dollare genral adn dollar tree... for 1.00. I have gotten many from Dollar tree.
  9. generally, with wash off products, the scent doesn't remain on the skin. Sometimes it does with some scents, but usually its short lived.
  10. I make them.. I do not do the "egg" ones. I devised my own recipe.( more along lines of a bath bomb but flat) I make chocolate chips ones with the chips being cocoa powdered colored cocoa butter. I have also colored cocoa butter other colors to drizzle the tops like "icing" heres some CC ones.. sorry.. this is an old pic before i got better with the chips and they arent "trimmed" and cleaned up yet, but you get the idea. http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l235/toobizymom/todaystuff002.jpg
  11. my thoughts exactly!! I dont even wanna think about it.
  12. cool it says body wash not shower or "gel"...shipping would prob kill me though. Shower gels havent impressed me.. drug store or naem brand. The body washes have. I wish I could dupe olay cream ribbons or St Ives Whipped silk.
  13. wsp usually has small options of everything like glycerin in around a 16 oz bottle. you can also get glycerine in drug stores and craft stores at times( at a much higher price)I dont know what surfactant you are looking for?
  14. thats my big issue. Breastmilk is a body fluid and does contain traceamounts of blood. Prove to me saponification process can kill the aids virus and other nasties, then maybe it will lose some of its ICK factor as far as for public sale.
  15. Have you tried sams, or local cake supply shop? They use these in food service as well ..
  16. I am not appalled either, Its just personal. I really dont think the cow or goat I use milk from gives it any thought where the milk went or what someone does with it. Are FDA guidelines in place for this? I mean what about public safety?
  17. I am not even gonna say what I see every time I look at this thread title:o
  18. ok I didn't wanna do any bases. Not thats there is anything wrong with them. I like making my own stuff, I just get great personal satisfaction. I ordered samples to try.. anyone know where I can find a creamy body wash base? I really prefer that over shower gel.
  19. I got one f the players a few years back when I had a coupon and caught a sale so i got it for 5$. Its not worth the price they were selling at, but the nice thing is you can reload the disk with your own FO and just reuse them:)
  20. I have been all MP for a couple years due to a toddler and no workshop. I am hoping to get back to Cp as soon as we move and I have my own workshop w a lock!! I may never leave it!!
  21. I raid my pantry for oils and other goodies. Who cares if we need rosemary for pork. I NEED it for my soap!! I raid kids toys and toyboxes etc.. looking for new "molds" or things to create silicone molds with. my fingers are always stained with dyes if my house ever caught fire I am sure it would just explode with all the accelerants I have. my answer for everything is now.. I am not buying that..::roll eyes:: I can make that SHEESH.. look at those cheap azz oils in there!!
  22. I did read one place that castor oil added a lot of shine. I notice a lot of glosses have castor oil and/or lanolin oil. I just wanted further confirmation. I will have to test test test!
  23. yes... the key to this is using natrasorb bath.. it encapsulates the oils and then relases them in the water. I use about 14 0z of oil to 7.5 oz of natrasorb, plus other goodies, EO, extra emollients like Isopropyl Myristate or hydrovance, glycerin, vit e..
  24. What oils/ingrediants are best for shine in a solid lip balm type lipgloss? I haveonly made regular ole chapstick type lipbalm and wanted to get something a bit glossier, but not a liquid gloss. TIA
