  1. Sooooo ladies it was a good day with the lotion scenting. . it was my balms in jars that I was scenting...I had the balm in the jars, premeasured scents in bottles. labels cut, I labeled the jar and I gave them the scent and stirrer to use.....They were all happy about choosing their fragrance and adding it at home...All was good... Hugs Maggie
  2. I have my first Farmers Market this Saturday....One of my Best sellers is my Softens and Soothes Hand and foot balm, good for you elbows and knees too....I have them all unscented..and I am offering 4 to 6 popular scents including a few eo's that I have samples to try...I have preprinted labels that are cut and ready to be applied, and they can choose the scent they want and I will do it up for them...This is to save from having scents that no one likes....the most popular is the unscented.....I've done this before and it worked..Just wondering if anyone has done this too Hugs Maggie

  5. My very first Bubble Soap Cake.made especially for the first day of the Farmers Market for my returning customers.... I used up older soaps. I shredded them with my salad shooter...did this hot process....added the shreds then the Scent .....I had my springform pan ready..... I lined the bottom with parchment paper and the outsides with bubble wrap that was oiled with olive oil....added the shreds to the tops....soooooo purdy and it smells wonderful... Unmolded butttttttttttttttt the shreds did not stay grrrr.....next time... note to self to do the soap cake cold process.... Now I thought to myself how am I going to cut this...so my mind got to working and thinking  and I thought why not cut the center out then I can just slice into smaller wedges....get more bang for my buck sorta... so I had these metal tins I pick up somewhere and I shoved the tin down into the the middle of the soap cake and it cut it in the shape of a flower...and now I can cut the soap flowers into soaps and give away too...... Note the bubble wrapped looking sides thats why I call it my Bubble Soap Cake.... Last picture.... Thanks for listening to me babble ...I hope my Customers will like my Thank You gift to them for all there continued support... Hugs Maggie

  11. The Soap Goats has the car and sheep mold http://www.thesoapgoat.com/nflexable.html and I think Brambleberry has some too http://www.brambleberry.com/molds_flex.html Milky Way molds has some good ones for children, aliens, dinosaurs...these are not flexible but work well with cold process or hp process soaps... For the train I have used chocolate molds with success. I bought mine from e-bay... http://www.milkywaymolds.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=mwm&Category_Code=VA HTH's Hugs Maggie
