    Yes I am agreeing with you on the jar shape. I burned 2 lemon meringues in them as well and the scent was very mild. It sucks because I really love these jars. Hmmmm I can still make them I suppose but what to tell customers if anything lol. I also agree that longer cure times are better if possible. Well thanks again for walking me through this. I always appreciate any help. ?

    Bathroom with door open that goes into another small walkway. My girlfriend can smell it better than myself so maybe I do have a little candle nose. She said it's not real strong but she can smell it. I can really smell the mason though.

    8% and it's really mild. My little mason with 8% is whooping it's butt hahaha

    OK good. The Libbey burn right now has been on for 2 hours but almost 0 scent. Grrrr lol

    I was told 70 soy to 30 paraffin. Not 100% on that though

    Hey Glory, Haven't heard from you in while. Hope all is well? I am receiving a free sample of Clarus 3022 any day now. I hear that Clarus is pretty much 6006 also. Glory I still have a ton of premiers and haven't really tested them in paraffin yet. I will try zincs in the Clarus when I receive it unless you would suggest anything different?

    Ahhh I figured that's what it was. Thank you for the tip. I did buy insurance from the soap guild a few months ago. I made sure of that lol. I also place warning labels on my candles and melts

    I usually burn for 4 hours staright. I think the 8oz masons are 3 inches. It took about 4 to 4 1/2 hours to achieve a full melt pool. I am guessing that's normal. The Libbey had an almost full pool around 4 1/2 also. How long is a power burn?

    My first burn was around 4 1/2 hours and second for about 3

    I used the 51 for the 8oz square mason, the 60 for the libbey and then I made a couple more today. I made a 10oz 12 sided jar with a 51 also. I made a big square mason with a 51 and another libbey different scent with the 60 as well

    I did use the 51 sorry not the 52 lol. I will try a smaller wick on my next test though. Can't wait to try my jellies with your suggestions.

    I am using 8oz and 6oz and pint mason square jars. I have jellies also but haven't tested yet. Do the pint square masons use the 52 also? Have to say thank you again on the suggestions. The Libbey looks great just needs scent now hmmmm

    Becky, I used the 52 something haha. I may try the 44 next. The 52 burns great and great throw. The Libbey on first 2 burns weak scent but I guess we will see after I burn again tonight. Zincs just got delivered. Yaaaah! I can deal with the mushrooms so as long as I have an even burn and good scent. I tell everyone to trim the wicks after each burn anyways

    Becky, OK over 3 hours now on burn and the 6oz mason achieved a full melt pool and a little hot. Great scent and dancing flame. The libby burning great right now but hardly any scent. I think the libby will achieve a full melt pool by second burn. Maybe it's the container? I seem to get more scent room mason jars and 12 sided?

    Im burning the zinc testers right now. The libby is looking great so far but the scent throw is not quite there. This is strange because my 6oz mason is throwing much better with the same percentage of fo and all. They both came from the same batch. The mason may be burning a radio too hot. I could probably wick 1 down

    Hapathy I will burn the entire candle down as well to see. Do your customers complain about the candle not achieving a full melt pool or the burn off at the end?

    I just emailed clarus and they are sending me a sample it looks like. Thanks for the heads up on the wicking aspect.
