  1. Those look great!! Have you run out of room yet?? lol Keep up the good work!
  2. They both look great, but I love the color of the round! Congrats on coming to the other side...:tiptoe:
  3. Looks great!! Now I need one for my dad . He used to use that after shave when I was growing up. Love that smell!
  4. I make my Amber Romance, Pink. That's just the color that hit me when I made it up. That's whats good about making candles ourselves, you can color it what ever tickles your fancy. JMHO
  5. I would start out with Melt & Pour for starters. It's pretty easy, to play with. Just get a couple lbs of different Clear and White, and play...they are easy enough to mold. But once unmolded you really should wrap, cause M&P tends to attract moisture. HTH
  6. I'm really new to this CP stuff, so I'm only asking questions I would ask myself. First, I think when they suggest Pastel Pink, I think they are talking about candles? What type of dye did you use in the soap? I tried using some blue and got purple, used red and got mud red. So unless you know that the colorant you are using in the CP soap will really color, it's a hit and miss. Sorry that it seized up on you. I'd be freaking out if it were me!! If you could safe it...you could call it "Cierra Cashmere"? Sorry I can't help anymore.
  7. I really love doing CP Soaps!! I'm just working on getting some made for now...I kinda like the fresh out of the mold look for now, it's just that. One day I would love to master making them look more professional...but I'll deal with that down the road. They both smell so wonderful...I might have to hoard the Chocolate Kisses w/Sugar Milk for myself....lol Thanks for the comments!
  8. I'm goin' to have to buy some Eggnog Lip Balm from you. It's my DD's favorite (to drink that is!! ) She always called it "Egg Milk" What a great Stocking Stuffer!! They look Great!
  9. Brenda, All of your Products look wonderful!! I love how you have all the different labels for the lipbalms, BUT must be a pain in the arse making all those?? :undecided Keep up the good work!
  10. I attempted to make GL's Raspberry Mint Jelly once before, but forgot to add fo ! That was a couple of months ago. So this time I paid attention to everything... Anyway, this was colored with Peacock Dye Red. I added alot of drops, and it's more of a mud red than really red, but it's got spec's of green for the mint in it. This smells so good!! Next is a blend of ICS's Chocolate Kisses & Sugar Milk, I did a blind swirl on this one. I probably should have use some cocoa powder to make it a little darker. But of course no swirls on the inside!! It smells so rich!! These are not as prudy as the swirl queens we have on here...but it was fun playing!! Thanks for looking!
  11. I poured a Salsa Jar container candle in GL's Raspberry Mint Jelly fo. Made up a 4lb batch of the same fo in CP . I love this scent! Don't know what the colors will come out to be (used red Peacock color dye, and tried to swirl with Green Mica for the mint) , but it will smell good..lol Also did 2lb batch CP with ICS's Sugar Milk and blended with Chocolate Kisses  I did a blind swirl (or attempted to swirl...lol) Had DH pouring one unscented, while I poured scented that will darken I'm sure. Hell, I'll take the "Marbled Look" for now as long as it goes all the way thru the bars! :embarasse Best Wishes for Good Weather and Great Riches for those doing shows, orders!
  12. Looks delish to me!! Bet it smells wonderful! I'm scared to do any fo that moves fast, so kuddos to you for doing it and it looking so good!
  13. I cut the box (that was really about 6 inches tall)..and used my 2lb batch recipe..I'm not sure exactly how big my bars will be just yet, but it left me with plenty of room to do a blind swirl with ICS's Chocolate Kisses & Sugar Milk. The top looks good, but I'll wait till I take out of the mold and cut to see what the inside looks like. Thanks for the help again! :highfive:
  14. I just found that SoapCrafters has a skin safe Cinnamon Bun FO. http://www.soapcrafters.com/soap_crafting_supplies/4143 HTH
  15. Thank You, CareBear!! I knew I wasn't doing something right!! :embarasse I'm writing this whole formula down!! I am math challanged!! As you can see....and I trans pose numbers sometimes :embarasse . I was trying to figure out how big the bars were going to be in this box as well.. Now I have a starting point! Thanks for the help!
  16. I have a feeling this is going to be a duh answer, but I can't figure this out. I would appreciate any and all help with this. I have a cardboard box that I want to use for a mold. I tried doing the calculations given...but I don't think I did something right.. Can you let me know what you come up with?? I'm in the soaping mode again.....(got on in the oven now ) Here's the measurements: W- 7in L- 9.75in H-4in did this X's .04 and come up with 10.92 :undecided Please explain this to me?? I know that it can't be just 10.92 ozs of oils to make my soap?? I'm really looking to do a two lb batch. TIA

  19. Deep green with a touch of brown for ours. HTH
  20. Maybe if you were to shrink wrap the lotionbar packaging some? Just so the lotionbar wouldn't move around in the bag much?? I've only made mine in the deoderant (sp) tubes, cause you can put them away after using....but I still get everyone asking if it's deoderant Other than that, I think your bars look great! And the ribbon w/hangtag with be nice.
  21. This is a question for Bunny!! She's experimented with several different items. You should be able to do a search in this forum for her post and find the results too. HTH
  22. All I can say is "OMG"!! Those are so pretty!! I know you had to wait a long time to get them cut, but they are so worth the wait! Great Work!!
