You know, I hope I can post this here..I am not sure where to post!!! I need a kick in the butt!! I am very mixed up about this cp soaping!! It can be sooo confusing...Every mix I try I seem to not get it right...There is soo much to learn...I thought I would have a basic bar under my belt by now..that I could just play with...and really learn..But there are soo Many recipes..and sooo many differences! Holy cow..I am thinking about hanging up cp..and doing just M&P..But I really wanna do it ya know? I love scents and I love cp soap! I just don't know if I can pull it off...U don't have to reply to this post..I just need to vent..and go back to square one and start reading all over again! Thanks for listening!! Ok how do u do a water dicount???? I really want to make these! and the recipe i found uses a 30% water discount...I have no clue how to do that! TIA!

Look In Your Cabinets!!! Sure fine.. 100% Vegetable oil.... My label reads 100% soybean oil it's regular cooking veggie oil...Like what U use in Cake mixes!!!! Or am i misunderstanding what it says? LOL

Hi ya... I have been a candle maker for a long time...WE have a para soy blend that we like..and are now trying to make all soy candles...We are doing testing with ezsoy from BCN...and are using rrd wicks..we poured into a 16oz apothacary jar ..it has cured for 48 hours..and what we see while testing is a digging wick..It is digging more then pooling...we are using a 47 and a 55 wick..it is scented with 1 oz China rain per lb..and light green with hard button dyes... Can anyone give me input to what is going on? is this normal??? it has been burning 30 mins or so...we got big mushrooms after 1/2 hour...are we wicking tooo big? sorry for all the questions..I just don't know what really to expect..or how they are supposed to burn... But I really don't know the answer....LOL!!! Working at the store today I grabbed a bottle of vegetable oil..and read Soy bean oil...Now is that the soy bean oil I see in soap recipes? Or is there a different one! Thank U guys...

Ok....I need help.... I would love to soap a nice hard bar..that is has good bubbles..and is good for dry skin..I know alot to ask!!!This is what I have...( Thanks again Purple Lilac!!)
