  1. I have Open Office too and have spent several hours the last couple of days trying to figure it out. So far I am still clueless. Arrghhh.

  4. I have been attempting to make container candles using the 8 oz. seamless tins. I bought some of the ticky tacky stuff ( I cannot remember what its called) but its for container candles to getting the wick to stay sort of glued to the bottom of the container. I have tried using the darn stuff and everytime I do the wick ends up floating to the top. Am I supposed to wait and let the stuff sit for a bit before pouring? I really want to try these but am getting frustrated. I know another option is to use a glue gun but before I try that I wanted to see if maybe I am mising something. Thanks. Anne

  7. After over 2 years of making candles I finally got my presto pot. Had never even heard of one until I came here. So I am wondering if any of you more expeirenced can offer any tips or advice before I get started testing it out. Thanks. Anne

  9. Oh ok. I guess for some reason I was thinking that it might come into contact with water or if you were sticking your fingers in it like if its in a jar since its thicker then you could spread bacteria. Thanks for the responses I really appreciate it. Anne
  10. I have tried finding info on this and did not find anything. Can you tell me why body butter does not need preservative but body lotion does? Actually I know why lotion does but do not get why body butter does not. Thanks. Anne
