    Dumb question. How do you seperate shipping expenses for the supplies you order. Do you seperate it as an individual business expense or is it just included in the supplies you order? Does that make any sense? I am so not good at explaining myself. The good thing is as long as we do not have a lot of snow I am supposed to be going to a networking meeting tomorrow evening and taxes is the top subject that will be discussed. This will be my first year of having the business part of taxes to file and I am trying not to be a nervous wreck. Thanks.

    Thanks Firegirl. I will have to check them out. I did not realize they were so close. I have not made up my mind. I may just do the jars for my mom and switch to malibu for the rest. I might have to see if I can try a couple out maybe buy on the classifieds and see how they work out before I invest a bunch more.

    Thanks Scents. I am just trying to get something that works well. I already have loads of jars from my scrubs and Body Butter so I think I am going to try my jars first and go from there. My mom who is one of my best customers has mentioned the issue with the lotions. I have never had any issues but if she has them then I want to make sure that its easy for everyone.

    I had originally planned on using 2 and 4 oz pet bottles for my lotion but its way to thick and does not come out of the bottles so well. Has anyone here used jars before for their lotion? I am contemplating using a jar or trying those malibu tubes. Just looking for some feedback. Thanks.

    Just an fyi in addition to the previous post. Your bank should be able to provide you with a printout showing the charge now instead of having to wait for your statement to cycle. However in getting the credit back it sucks that it can take awhile 1 to 2 months is about right but your bank may be able to provide a provisional credit until this is resolved especially if this puts your account at risk for becoming overdrawn. Make sure you take the contract copy along with you so they can see also about you being able to cancel at anytime.

    You can notify your bank but you also need to write them a letter not just by calling in order to protect your rights. They usually have you sign an affadavit. It's similar to the dispute process for unauthorized credit card charges. Hopefully you have a good bank.

    Meridith, Yes it was fun and really I am just joking. I mean at first I was not going to even attempt to but I could not help myself. I threw some ingredients together and thought what the heck. Too funny cause mango butter was one of them. And yes since I have imperfected it I shall continue to work at it becuase it really is fun and I am compulsive like that. :highfive:

    Yep tried my hand for the first time at making a bath bomb today. Looked like it would be ok not perfect but not so bad but they started to flatten out and one is starting to crumble.

    Hhhhmmmm well not intentionally. Good to know I guess. Perhaps for those of us who love sugar scrubs we need to make sure we eats lot of yogurt.

    Yes the oil can and does settle at the top. Just stir it up before using.

    I have had the same problem and its happened before there was even product in the bottle so I do not think it's because of the product. I have purchased from 2 different suppliers and each one has the same problem.

    Although I have not done trademark before I have done copyright and it is my understanding that they both take quite some time. Copyright took around 4 months whereas trademark is a lot more detailed and can take longer. How long has it been?

    If you were going to ship only one scrub you could always just use a smaller priority mail box. It will not work for flat rate shipping but you usually have an idea of how much it will cost to say ship it to New York using priority mail. Since it does not weigh much I am trying to remember how they do the regions but it would probably be around $5 I think. Works just as great becuase you can order the boxes for free of off USPS. Hope that helps. I ship this way and it works out nicely for me.

    Another great supplier thats located in Ohio is www.wholesalesuppliesplus.com thats closer to you then to me but I just love them. Not sure about other suppliers close to you.
