OK I didnt forget the FO this time...Tangerine Lavender (MC) and did a two color swirl...orange and purple POP colors...I will take a pic...if I can find the camera...:tiptoe:

I guess I am old fashioned....I LOVE my misty creek mold and my wood log molds...I wouldnt trade them for anything. I line my molds the old fashioned way too...freezer paper.

well I got to use the Apple green today....I pulled out some raw soap and mixed in the green and then poured the rest of the soap in the mold...did one of my BEST swirls so far....and while i was standing back admiring it I realized....I FORGOT the FO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so I dump the soap back in the bucket and dump in the FO and stick blended it and it is a pretty green...I added more color too...but no swirlies this time!

I ordered wicks from JBN and when they came there was some missing. I called them and they sent my missing wicks out right away...she didnt give me a hard time or anything!! YAY for good customer service!!

I didnt get to play today...I want them for swirling so I will try mixing in a little oil and see how it goes...maybe in the morning.

OK got my POP colors from Dirtybird's co-op and now I need to know HOW to use them....they are the powdered colors...do you just sprinkle into raw soap till you get the color you want or do you mix in carrier oils?? HELP....please....

anyone testing in palm?? Are you all testing at .5 to .8 oz like they say you can??

There is a noticable difference between CD wicks and CDN wicks with palm. I didnt see much difference with soy but a BIG difference with palm.

I searched and didnt find much about her scents and palm...anyone using her scents with palm?? If so what are some good ones to start with?? I am using GG palm wax

I dont think altitude has anything to do with it...I made a few GG to take with me and test when we went to Silverton CO...almost 10,000 ft and they burned the same as here at 2000 ft.

Also I send my candles back east and they burn them at sea level with no problems at all....

i searched and found mostly old posts...I found JBN...shipping is HIGH and Candle Cocoon wicks are HIGH...Is there any other suppliers for the CDN wicks??

what about basil and herb (CS) would that mix good with patch??

I use both the Parasoy container wax and LOVE everything about it! I do not have to heat the jars, I never have to do a repour, and the throw is amazing after just 24 hours!

I use zinc wicks so I can't help ya with the CD's, so send Vickey an email over there at KY...she's very helpful!!

Ha...thats funny!! My husband would not use my soaps for several years...finally I quit buying the store soaps and also whenever he asked me to wash his back....I would only use MY soap....so he finally converted and he is now my biggest fan!!

When I do a large one...I will pour a few cases of the most popular scents in the fundraiser...it does make it easier in the end.

NO...CSN wicks are nothing like the CDN wicks....two very different wicks.
