  1. I love those! How pretty! Do you mind sharing how you make those? They would be great as neighbor gifts and for my girls at the bank.
  2. This is just me, but given that selection of colors, I would buy 1 or 2 of each and see what sells. All of the colors sound nice to me, I mean it's not like they are some awful color that no one would have in their homes. Just a suggestion, hope others have more suggestions for you. Good luck!
  3. Thanks everyone! I appreciate the help! I guess I'll be wicking up then. I think I might try the lx-8 and see what happens! Don't worry, I carry my phone on my hip in case I need to call the fire department! Thanks again Lori
  4. Just lovely and very professional! I love the labels too!
  5. Hi Everyone, I made some tea light candles for my friend, scented clove, colored maple using plastic tea light cups and tea light wicks from BC (which I always use and have never had a problem - only good results.) Anyway, for some odd reason her clove scented tea lights, after lighting, would only give a small hint of flame and hardly any melt pool and burn like that for many hours. 3 of the candles she tried did this. Does anyone know why this would happen? All of the other scented tea lights I gave her burned perfectly? Thanks for any help or suggestions. Lori
  6. Thanks everyone - so glad you like it. It was quite fun to make!
  7. Here is a pillar I made for my neighbor! It is scented with BC's candy corn. Hope you like it!
  8. FINALLY I SEE THE LIGHT ( ). Thanks so much everyone for helping me out!
  9. I keep seeing these candles that some folks are making and I LOVE the idea--the problem I'm having is exactly how to achieve this? I just can't seem to understand how the get the space for the tealight in the top of the mold??? I do have a nice metal 3 x 6 pillar mold I'd like to try for this. Any help or suggestions to help me understand exactly how these candles are made would be sooooooo appreciated!:smiley2:
  10. Those are terrific! I love the mold, very professional!
  11. Thanks Janet! I finally understand! (It's been a looooonnnggg day!)
  12. Wow! That is really neat! I'm still a little confused about how you got the hole in the top of the candle to hold the tea light? I LOVE the palm wax and this is an excellent example of it! Great color too. Did you scent the pillar or do you use scented tea lights?
  13. Thank you everyone! It's funny, I was wondering what I was going to do for my sisters and sil's this year for xmas-I think the ornament idea is great! Thanks for the idea! When I make one I'll post it!
  14. Here is my first ball chunk candle! I have wanted to make one of these for a while now and finally did it! I'm quite pleased with the way this turned out. I learned, too that using vegtable spray on my plastic two piece molds is definitly the way to go! This baby just slipped right out of the mold. Hope you guys like it! Lori
  15. That looks like Palm wax at it's best! Great job on those and I LOVE the color of the Bird of Paradise candle!
  16. I'd say that you were actually IN your element! Nice work!
  17. Thanks Candleman! I made that site one of my favorite places!
  18. OK, so I got this great glass pumpkin at a yard sale for $1.00! It hold 70 ounces and I want to pour some harvest scented wax into it! I don't do too many multiple wick candles (especially containers!) so I am looking for some LX wicking suggestions! At it's widest point it is 7.5". LX24 is the largest wick I have. I'm thinking it will probably require 4 wicks. I know this is cheating but this is a big candle container and it is only for me so any help would be SOOOO appreciated! Thanks Lori
