  1. Wow thanks everyone. I took this picture for my brochure, along with a couple of the others that I posted here. Problem is I don't feel comfortable selling my candles yet . So I have the brochures made up and I can't show them. Well I couldn't til I pulled out the pages about things other than the hurricanes. I took a lot of local pics of sunsets and local stuff, as well as suggestions of other pics I could use, customers family pics etc. As well as suggestions of occasions when these would make great gifts. I sold a ton of them last Christmas. Help to reimburse me for my other candle supplies. Anywho thank you for the compliments. There are others on the board that are much better than myself and I look up to them for inspiration.
  2. Awsome as always! I don't think this woman is capable of making a fugly.
  3. Oh no, the mulberry and lavender aren't mixed. The candle is lavender, and those little pink stars sitting around it on the table are mulberry. Thanks everyone for the compliments!
  4. Kinda reminds me of a motion candle, looks cool!
  5. All I can say is WOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. I love the look of handbroken chunks! I also like the look of a cold-pored overpour, adds such great texture!
  7. Those are beautiful! Are they made using a mold, or by hand?
  8. I wonder what that'd look like under a black light LOL, Cool bright colors ya got there Hawiian!
  9. I love how these look, but I put the petals to high up. I'm afraid to let anyone other than myself burn them. They might not stick with tea lights.
  10. Love it, those colors make it look jamican!
  11. I really like the light blue one. It was originally a graduated blue layer that had a few bad seperation lines. So I broke it up with a hammer and used the chunks in this, so the chunks are sometimes 2-3 shades per chunk, then I put white lines up the sides at a tilt, those are hard to see in the pic, but I think it looks cool. To bad I later learned by burning it's sister that I wicked way to high, so it's just a looksy not a burny. LOL
  12. Thanks!!! Not anymore, your addy was in my PMs
  13. This was my first attempt at a marble, and I loved how it turned out. This was also made with the hurricane wax. The puppy was dipped and scented Vanilla, the other candle was a Burgundy chukie, with a solid color layer on the bottom, scented Mulberry.
  14. Star chunkie, scented lavender, with mulberry scented star melts around it.
  15. This was my first attempt at a tye dye, scented Warm Apple Pie. This thing burned forever! Cuz I unknowingly bought and used Hurricane wax! LOL
  16. You'll have to excuse some of my pics, after my camera died I started using my scanner so I could post these pics, this is one of them. This was my second attempt at a mottled candle, I don't like it as much as the first, but turned out ok.
  17. This was my first attempt at a mottle, and my favorite to date. Scented Rum Rasin, smells so yummy!
  18. These are 3 different styles. The first was a chunky made with matching chunks and overpour, scented Mulberry, with a solid layer on the bottem with stripes/spikes sticking up the sides. The second is a layered chunky, green is scented vanilla and blue layer is scented winterberry. The last was my first attept at slanted layers, the white has blue chunks in it, scented winterberry. I love that scent, wish I could find it somewhere other than in blocks at JoAnnes.
  19. Love this scent and the color the chunks turned out!
