  1. Is this a new batch of wax? I ask because I'm having the same problems, not with that same soy, but a different one. Everything that worked before is not working now, lol. PamR
  2. Just wondering if you had to 'eat' your bad wax, or if the supplier is making it good. I'm having issues with my soy not burning the way it used to & have 4 cases of it!! Supplier says no one else had a problem with it, so I guess it is just me, lol. PamR
  3. Sounds like it left an 'oil' stain. The only thing I can think of is to try some of the 'spot' type carpet cleaners on the market. Resolve is one, and I think woolite has one. She might try that. PamR
  4. Does anyone know where I might find the small cast iron skillets? I have a customer that saw these at Swan creeks' site. She is chomping at the bits for me to find some. Thanks http://www.swancreekcandle.com/crumbiebakes.html Pam R
  5. I thought NG's key lime smelled like soap too! I've been using ICS's key lime since TNC discontinued what I thought was the best key lime pie. PamR
  6. Has anyone tried the Diorissimo by Dior? I used to love that as a teenager! PamR
  7. I always thought they smelled very similar. As does Tn's Amish harvest, at least to my nose. PamR
  8. Never mind, lol. Figured it out. I'm a dunce!
  9. Been reading your posts & without naming the supplier I think I have the same wax, lol. I did buy 4 cases of it & unless I add a tiny bit of beeswax, this stuff ain't gonna burn! Supplier also mentioned it was the same. I had been wicking with a cd16 or 18, now even a 22 won't do it. But the bw worked for me & there isn't enough of in there to cause cracking. PamR
  10. This intrigues me also, but I honestly don't think it is simply the unmounted rubber stamp inserted into the mold. If you could get it out, the removal of the stamp would leave the whole impression of the rubber piece, not just the stamp. Does that make sense? Man, this really bugs me, but there has to be a way! PamR
  11. DeSolvit will melt that dye away. They use it on burn victims, so it isn't a harsh cleaner. I couldn't live without my Desolit! PamR
  12. Well it's back on the site. I swear the last time I placed an order it wasn't there!! I'm sorry!! Maybe I am sniffing too much fo, lol. Me Bad! Pam R:p
  13. I agree about the spearmint! Why did they discontinue it? I'm still searching for one like that one. PamR
  14. If you like BCN's fos, then you'll like theirs. I think almost of their fos are from BCN. They are close to me, so in a pinch I will order from them, especially the spiced cranberry & creme brulle. PamR ps. They are super nice people!!
  15. I smell too, lol. And that's not a bad thing, unless it is a fo I hate! But your hair will absorb the scent also. I even had a couple of cases of jelly jars that I wasn't going to use--the cases had never been opened. My son wanted to make salsa, so I gave him the jars. He said he had to throw all the salsa out because the glass had absorbed the scent!! So the fo we use is powerful stuff!! I'm glad I'm not the only one that stinks, hehe. PamR
  16. Jennifer, you're sweet, thanks, but I think I have that one. I have a customer that only burns raspberry & finding just the one is like pulling teeth, lol. Thanks again. PamR
  17. Thanks guys, I've tried a couple of these, but there are others I will have to try. I have tried candle cocoons raspberry cordial & think it is FAB, but way too expensive for me, lol. I've never tried Peaks or wildfire's, so I'll check them out. I had forgotten about soycandle.com. Their raspberry is nice! Pam R
  18. Any suggestions for a good straight raspberry in soy? I don't think there is such a thing, but thought I'd ask, lol. Thanks PamR
  19. I placed an order back in Feb, never received anything. I know alot of people had trouble with the customer service, but this was the first time for me. I won't order from them again. Pam R
  20. I was wondering if anyone had used both the ky125 & the c3. How do they compare? Is the c3 better than the ky125? I know I should just sample the c3, & that's what I intend to do, but with so many 10# bags of wax laying around, I thought I'd throw out the question. I've been using the ky125 for a long time, but now the shipping is a killer. Thanks in advance. PamR
  21. I've heard alot about monoi, which is best, the scented or unscented? Thanks PamR
  22. There are a couple I like, but overall, I think I can find better. I have a customer that uses them for soaps & wants me to make candles in the same fragrance. I have alot of NG's oils, & find the throw to be ok, not spectacular. So it's not just you PamR
  23. High priced oils doesn't necessarily mean best throw. I've tried several $26 a # oils, only to be not impressed with throw. Then I may try a $13 oil & it throws like crazy. You just have to test. I always thought if a fo was too cheap, it meant it was diluted, but that's not always the case. I think most of my oils are priced in the $15 to $20 range. PamR
  24. I've tried the bluberry cobbler & the banana nut. The blueberry wasn't what I hoped it would be, but I bought 2 pounds of the banana nut. Great stuff! PamR
  25. I won't be ordering anything, lol. I need a sale on pounds of fo, not 4 or 8 ouncers!! If suppliers realized how a $1 or $2 off pound would sell, they might sell more product. Sorry, just a rant. I really could use some of Longwyck's hot apple pie!! PamR
