  5. oh man! so many to choose!!! I emailed them and asked for scent descriptions...wish they offered a sample pack! Definitely going for the apples & berries...is it a tart apple or all sweet...do u get more berry in there than apple? Butter Cream crunch - is it at all like JS Vanilla buttercreme crunch? Cocomango is on the list too, and oatmeal raisin cookie. Georgia Peach...do you use it straight or as a mixer??
  6. There are no scent descriptions on their site! I remember reading raves about the Apples & Berries...anything else to check out? TIA, Jenn
  7. I know so many of you LOVE this Fo and oob I was so excited, but I think it has a waxy smell in my CBL129. I kind of vaguely remember someone else saying this... I thought maybe it was just me, but DH says it also. I SOOOOO wanted this to work:cry2:
  8. I am burning Snowtop's Honey Gardenia in a 6 oz tin and it ROCKS! It is a super-strong thrower in paraffin and this little tin is filling up the whole downstairs and making its way up the steps on the other side of the house! It's a keeper! Angie has great oils, and I don't read about them too often on this board so I wanted to share! Baked Apples in amazing too, and her oils are made to throw in soy. Jenn
  9. I got a sample form the jar store and these are some nice thick glass jars! I wicked it with 2 LX12's in CBL129 with 6% mango papaya and it burned beautifully. little bit of hang-up but it caught up after a few burns. I saw Anchor Hocking has a 16 oz rectangle jar...I would like to try that too!
  10. I love them, but I wonder how hard wicking these guys would be...here is the link! http://www.jarstore.com/product.asp?itemid=74&catid=36
  11. I have only done it in testers uncolored, so I am trying to decide what to make it. Also, has anyone renamed this scent? It is filling up my ENTIRE downstairs right now (and making its way upstairs) in a 15 oz honeypot jar with CBL129!!
  12. I did that a month ago...at least it was a yummy one...vanilla buttercreme crunch!!!
  13. Yup, Yup The Chestnuts & Brown Sugar Is Great... Don't Forget About Hyacinth Chula Orchid...wow~! I Test-burned It Last Night After 2 Days Curing Time In Cbl-129 And It Blew Me Away!
  14. I had posted a question about this a month ago...I had this problem with some containers using C&S 1275 wax (parasoy). Couldn't smell it in the living room but the scent was strong on the stairs and in the hallway upstairs. Weird, huh?
  15. I was just wondering if anyone has tried these Peak's fos? Alan's oils are always great, so I am hoping for some great reviews!!! bartlett pear casaba mist (think i keep seeing this one in posts??) cranberry citrus coconut banana blast wild berry musk wild mountain honey TIA! Jenn
  16. Welcome back SatinDucky! Hope you are doing well! I recently came back to candlemaking too! Took a break while pregnant. Boy I missed it...I'm sure you know what I mean! Jenn

  18. http://www.candlewic.com/candle-wax/PDS-CBL129.pdf hth!
  19. With most container blends, no because they will make your tarts too soft. But here is a wax from Candlewic that is very hard and can also be used for votives and tarts. I haven't tried this wax yet, but I know others on the board have. I just requested a sample of it the other day! http://www.candlewic.com/candle-wax/PDS-CBL129.pdf Jenn
  20. Okay my holiday opn house is over, I am heading to Punta Cana tomorrow, so Iam thinking spring!!! What are your top fragrances for spring/summer? Snowtop's Honey Gardenia and Peak's Blackberry Sage both do really well for me. JS Hyacinth Chula Orchid is up there too.
  21. Anyone out there use this wax? What kind of experiences did you have with it? I did a search and there aren't many posts on it. I am thinking of buying a slab to play with, but wanted to read a little about it first! TIA, Jenn:cheesy2:
