  1. Check the classifieds or your pm's. Beth has you back on the 6" shrink wrap. Now, breath, drink and pour your butt off!
  2. Your more than welcome! I'm glad I could help you out. Your gonna make chic! Just think, when the big paycheck comes, you can buy your wax melter and accounting software and still have some change left over, LOL!
  3. Take a deep breath Sweetpea! Okay, you know where to get your boxes and shrink tubing so you can order it. Microsoft has template for invoices that you can customize and use. If you decide on Quickbooks or Peachtree for your accounting/inventory, you will be able to generate invoices from those programs. Another program you might want to look at is My Invoices and Estimates Deluxe. I started out using that program before I got my Peachtree. It allows your to generate invoices that coordinate with your logo and/or website. I think it's $29.99 or $39.99. That might be an idea until you decide what accounting program you want to use. I believe Best Buy, Office Depot & Office Max carry the My Invoices software. If not, here's the URL where you can order it online: www.Elibrium.com . I hope this helps you out some. Congratulations on your huge wholesale order. Your going to do a great job. Remember, take a deep breath, then a big drink, LOL!
  4. Tropical Breeze and Margarittaville sound good. I don't know what Tropical Breeze smells like but it sounds fruity. To bad you don't have some Bay Rum. That would be great with Banana for a Banana Daiquiri.
  5. Wha Hoo, I'm glad it worked out for you. Have a wonderful FR and yes, Mom's are the greatest!
  6. Very classy! Love your presentation!
  7. They look great to me! Nice job!
  8. WOW, congratulations Trish! Your going to be one busy girl! Keep us posted!
  9. Love the Sweetpea and the Rosemary Mint sounds divine! Great job!
  10. I'm interested in too as I have been wondering the same thing!
  11. IGI 4627 was pretty translucent for me in containers. That being said, some people have had trouble getting it to throw. I was able to get a muted pink translucent pillar (actually 97 of them) with IGI 4625. HTH
  12. Very nice and creamy! They look beautiful in the frosted glass holder!
  13. Tanya might be able to help you out with this question. Maybe she'll chime in shortly.
  14. I agree with you as far as if you need an oil a.s.a.p. to go somewhere else. That being said, it still shouldn't take 19 days to 2 months to get an oil delivered. I'm pretty sure she generates the USPS label to satisfy Paypals requirement of shipping withing 14 days. Then, she either looses it or forgets it. She knows that USPS can't be confirmed until delivery so she can get away with saying it's in the mail. If I ever order from her again (which I don't know if I will), I will request UPS or FedEx that way I can track it.
  15. Here ya go: http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQfgtpZ1QQfrppZ25QQsassZsoapncandlestoo Page 3 and back is where you'll find the negative feedback. She may be trying to fix the problem. I just know I've been watching it for a while and the SAME people seem to ALWAYS get their oils.
  16. Hmmmmm, I can't answer you for sure Lin. I did some on a 4X9 but put a votive cup in the top. It was meant as a "Forever" or "Keepsake" candle. I also did some on votive holders with the bride/groom name and date. They didn't come loose or discolor from any warmth generated from burning the votives. That's about all I can tell you about the ones I did.
  17. 2 questions: 1) Is it a candy thermometer and your hanging it on the side of your pot? If so, the heat/temp from the metal on the side of your pot is causing an erroneous reading. Or, 2) It's a candy thermometer and your allowing it to sit on the bottom of the pot. Again, the heat/temp from the metal on the bottom of your pot is causing an erroneous reading. I use a "Tru Temp" Digital Thermometer by Taylor. I got it at Target for about $16.00. It even has an alarm that lets your program what temp you want and if it goes above that temp it will alarm. It allows the probe to float in the wax without touching the sides or bottom of the pot. I would say that would be your best method to accurately measure your temp. JMO
  18. Yep! I won 2 auctions and then placed an order so they could all ship together. That was in May. I kept getting one email after another with excuses about CP down, shipping issues, etc. Finally, I had to file a complaint with paypal for a refund. I finally got that at the end of June or beginning of July (I can't remember). It's really ashame too. I really would love to have some of her oils. I have noticed that there are a "select" few that seem to ALWAYS get their oils, just not sure how long it's taking them. Check her ebay feedback, it should give you more insight to the problem. HTH
  19. I understand your feelings of not wanting to do business with the school anymore. However, you HAVE ordered supplies and you DID have a verbal agreement that you would do the FR. I'd tell her you feel the FR should go to you and she could do the HI FR in January. I'd let her know what all goes into hosting a FR regarding supplies and ordering. Explain that glassware can take several weeks to arrive and then if there's breakage you have to wait for replacements, not to mention making the product. You need to recoop your expenses that you incurred on her "good faith" verbal agreement. JMO
  20. OMG, that is just horrible! Girl, you have a LOT more patience than I would have had with him. I'd have told him to take his "hush, hush" info, stuff it (you know where), lick it (if he can reach it), stamp the damn thing and send it to someone who gives a shit!
  21. Yep, ditto Lin! I have emailed Nachelle and most times I get a response within a few minutes. Try nachelle@peakcandle.com both Alan and Nachelle would be able to tell you an approximate restocking time.
  22. I agree with Carmen, $5.00/candle for a 16 oz. candle is not enough for your time!
