  3. So you thinkl LX 18 for my 3 inch tins would be ok? not LX 20 to big I bet.
  4. I really like the LX. The Zinc mushrooms a little to much for me. But both have a steady burn and nice HT
  5. After looking at this again I think the CD 8 will work better. going to order.
  6. That helps me a lot. The only soot I haveonce in a while is if I have not trimmedthe weick well enough and it smokes for a little while but if the flickering is ok, I'm good. I did'n know I could use CD wicks in paraffin. For some reason I associated them with only soy so glad I tried. Do you think the CD 10 is to big for the 3 inch tin? And why are you not reting after a big meal and with your family instead of here with me online.
  7. So now I have an 8 oz tin burning with a CD 10 and 4630. The HT is EXCELLEN>T but the flame is flickering and has the entire time. It is near the end of the test burn. MP was good after 3 1/2 hours t and 1/4 inch deep. My question is FLICKERINg a really bad thing/ Everything else falls in line but that. I want to test with a CD 8 but need to order.
  8. But this is 4630. I have been testing all summer onseveral scents and never had a cavity. i checked them. Maybe wick to small?

  10. At some point down the road these would be gifts for family and friends so i would want them to be good quality. I would not trust anyone even them to trim wicks, i never trimmed wicks on candle I bought before starting to learn the candle hobby. Thanks
  11. Not fond of rabbits, was bitten once so will discard the idea and stick to reg wicks. Thanks
  12. i am want ing to try wooden wicks in my 8 oz tins but lI have read on this forum several posts about wood wicks not staying lit and not good wood. Does anyone have a good wood wick supplier with wicks that keep burning after each lite. Thanks

  16. So I am burning this candle with an HTP 83 now and not the 93 as above but it looks about the same. I made one today with only 8% fo. do you think the problem is the fo? Lavender seems to be a heavier fo that the White Birch i madee using 10% 8 oz tin and htp 93 and is burning perfectly yesterday and today. I
