    I make melts for myself and friends, i dont sell. I sen some 24 tarts to my daughter in Ohio.I put them in a zoiplock bag flat and wrapped in bubble wrap and put them in a brown envelope and mailed. When she recieved them she said they were a little crushed, The only things I have shipped there before were large Cgristmas present boxes. I'm wondering if there is another way to ship these tarts with outspending a fortune on priority box flat rate. I did try to get them in a small fat but they were to tight a fit. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Karen

    Thanks, I just orded a few sample waxes and a couple slabs from Flaming Candle. The shipping is more being farther away but I'm betting the order gets here in one piece. I ordered from them one other time and they ven called to make sure I was a satisfied customer. I was impressed.

    So here's a question I have and really need suggestions. I made tarts out of 4630 and 4625, Several of the fo' work well and I burn ib the warmer with great results. The ones that do not turn out well and have np ct OR ht are junk. So what can I do with this wax. t has some color and fo in it. Am I able to reheat to hightemp and add another fo? Thanks

    I ordered some sample wax and sample wicks last week from Peak. I just got TWO messages. 1. The order was damaged by USP and discarded and they will reship This is the same thing that happended on my last order!!! They need to revamp their packaging!! 2. Second message stated they are out of the sample packs of 6006 I ordered and won't have till next week sometime. I am totally TICKED OFF and will NEVER order from them again. Now I'm sitting here with order and shipping paid for and cannot do the sample testing I planned on my day off tomorrow. I have one day off a month!! Sorry just had to vent

    Thank you, I may try the lower temp on the next go around and I never even thought about blemding this fo. What do you blend with?

    Should I try a little Vybar 260 in the mix. I read on the posts that sometimes tht helps but hve not tried it wth this blend.

    bought from Aztec, so maybe they do need to sit for a few days. i have thetarts out of the container and sitting on a papertown on my counter.

    I started one of the barnwood in my warmer to see if it really does have any scent but I think I'll have to chalk this one up to a learning experience and try it in another blend 4627 and 415 for a candle, maybe that will work Thanks

    I made some tarts yesterday AM using 4630 and 4325 and FO Barnwood which wasquite astong fragrance from the bottle but I do not have much if any CT from the tarts, Heated to 185 added color and fo , stirred for 2 min and poured at 150. What is wrong or do they need more time to cure? Other fo's are great right away like Orange Blossom both ht and ct. Suggestions would be appreciated.... Thanks Karen

    I finally decided on a container blend for my candles . 415 and 4627 70/30%. I've been trying wicks , Premier 767, Peak Cotton Core # 70 and #75 and CD 16. I think these are all to much for the 8 oz Jelly jar 2 3/4" across. i'm getting a little discouraged and may switch to a 8 oz mason jar to see if any of these work with it. Any suggestions will be helpful, I want to order samples of something that will work . I appreciate any imput. thanks Karen

    Thanks so much for the advise. So 4625 and amd 4630 will work together? So many numbers , did I get that right?

    How do I clean tarts molds, wax was to soft. i used 50/50/4630 and 4627 and tarts will not come out of the fluted mold. to sticky... had to dig them out. Now when cleaning them I realize they do not clean like soy with soap and water. Should I use a mold release spray before each use? Is there a wax cleaner I need to have? Thanks for the help Karen

    Wow!! Those look great! I will place an order now.. I want to give them as gifts to family in another state so they will have to be shipped.. I really like these.....What do the Ziplick bags do to tarts that you don;t use them?

    I ordered some fluted tart molds from peak and theywill be here Mon.. i will get the ice cube trays to practice with and I have been using a metal cup 2.5 oz from wall mart... came in a pack of 6..they work pretty well......Have no idea why I wanted to test the cat food container... I gues it was a senior moment or hour or something.....

    What else can I store the tarts in besides the plastic bags?

    The container is from Meow Mix Variety pack we food I buy for my 5 cats . Each AM I give every one a little in a dish all from the 3.5oz? container ..So thats what I am trying. I poured my wax at 110 and the container did not melt so we'll see.....Yes the last sample tart I pured was thesame mix and yes was sticky so I learned that one the hard way...
