  1. I have 45 lbs. of C-3 wax flakes for sale.  I ordered C-3 and C-1 to try and decided to go with the C-1.  Looks like $35 would be about half the retail price.  If interested, send me your zip code so I can give you an estimate of shipping cost.

Have you seen the electric kettles used for beer making?

This one should hit my doorstep any time now.

Electric Turkey fryers around thanksgiving are also quite popular.

That looks interesting.  Do people usually fill it all up and use as needed, reheating each time?  Or heat up what you think you will use each time?

  3. Side note:  I can get beautiful smooth tops; but when I poke a shish kabob skewer all the way to the bottom (about 1/2" from the wick), I often find holes.  I cool in front of a fan and pour around 110 but plan on going even lower until I get this perfected.  Until then, I will continue to poke holes through those beautiful tops. :)

    Welcome to the craziness!

I’m almost done with a 50lb of c3 I got last year and I’m weighing out if troubleshooting the champagne bubbles is worth getting another one or jumping ship to something else 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

    How do you like c1?

I do like the C-1.  Is it hard getting a good hot throw with C-3?  I ordered both to begin with last year but didn't give C-3 much of a try.  Are the champagne bubbles the only drawback?  Do they go all the way through the wax or just on top.

  5. Congratulations!  We are all so fortunate to have you sharing the knowledge you have gained over these ten years with us.

We all miss things as our children grow up.  But it is amazing what children remember from their childhood.  Not that first step, first word, of course; but that you showed them how to plant vegetables, that you took them with you to the voting booth, that you read to them or showed them how to put a worm on a hook, or how to make a bar of soap. :)

  6. Have you ever poured wax that has the consistency of Cream of Wheat?  I'm using C-1soy and had gone thru all steps up to pouring but had to reheat a bit. So I stuck the pot in a low oven just to get the wax that was starting to solidify on the bottom of the pour pot to melt.  No big deal; I can get it back to a cloudy liquid.  But wondered if this thickness would eliminate air pockets and turn out being a good candle.  I tried attaching a photo but get error message.
