I love, love Snickerdoodle too . Terry may I ask what wax you used it in ? I'll be testing it in 464. How do you think it'll work in wax melts ?
It's one of my favorite scents. If you like lemon cookie scents ICS has Ice box lemon cookie and I love Fillmores too . I got a sample of Oatmeal
raisin from Fillmore but haven't tested it - not sure its what Im looking for though, it has some apple in there too which Im not sure about but
I'll have to put it in some wax to see .
I have it in 6006 -- but in a candle. Since many bakery-type scents do well in soy I don't see why it wouldn't make an awesome candle using 464. What wax are you using for your melts? I use the 50/50 blend of 4625 and 4627 and have not tried SD yet in melts but I will once I receive my order for the larger size bottle. I believe I saw members using the 6006 for melts (if anyone cares to respond here) and that is what I plan to try as well. Would love to have one wax for both candles and melts :) I have a sample of the FM Iced Lemon Biscotti and it smells great! Getting around to that one soon too

Snickerdoodle from CS is a great cookie scent. I'm adding it for my cookie scent this year. Super duper throw.
I love, love, love Snickerdoodle!!! Not a foody type person here but that smells so good I want to eat it! And yes, excellent throw in 6006.

I was working on mixing and pouring Pumpkin Souffle batch while preparing ahead with supplies for my Cranberry Crumble....
Needless to say, I ended up with an orange batch of Cranberry Crumble.
Sounds like a good combo to me

Thanks so much for letting us know. I'm so bad at picking out "notes" in a blend and am equally bad at distinguishing one pine from another. Always, always appreciate those of you who share what you detect, differences, etc.

Zinc 51-32-18 worked well for me with 6006 and BO & N, 7% load.
Grani I should have mentioned that I used a 12 oz. Status jar if that helps you any...what jar are you using?

For someone who is learning about soapmaking like me - would this be a CP recipe or HP or can it be used both ways?

Welcome! I'm learning to love bird watching. My problem is I really want to take pictures of them. watching and getting the camera pointed in the right spot at the right time is a challenge I have a hard time just photographing the indoor budgies.talk about hopeless.
a gorgeous red Cardinal was just perched on a birch branch peeking in the window.Little hummers swarm the hosta flowers. And bats. Do they count? a good size family of little bats come out to feast just before dusk around the barn. They are so cool.
Welcome birdcharm
I like cardinals they are beautiful birds as well as blue jays. And bats are definitely cool, they just got a bad wrap!

For me personally I would not purchase a candle that I could not get a whiff of cold. I am also currently experiencing this situation with a FO I purchased from EBB called Lavender Martini. Made two weeks ago today with 6006 and, darn, it doesn't have a pinch of cold throw even with sticking my nose right in the jar, so disappointing... I personally would not add a scent with no cold throw to my lineup. Assuming you don't want to try it in another type of wax I would keep it in my personal scent collection

I am going to try their Tangerine Dreams & Sea salt Caramels. I am looking for replacements for TCS in these scents.
Hi Kathy and welcome to you too!
NG is not one of my usual suppliers so I would love to hear about your findings on NG Tangerine Dreams as I am also looking for a TCS replacement.
