  1. Thanks Ravens, Your swift response is greatly appreciated :-) If an when you use Lemon Colada please let us know your thoughts. For now i'll purchase a sample size of the Pina Colada.
  2. Have either of you had the chance to use the Lemon Colada yet? I'm curious on your results. (Pina Colada as well)
  3. Which was your favorite and why?
  4. I would freeze the wax so it shrinks and the hopefully it will pop out of the cups. Once out you can use a presto pot or regular pot and slowly warm the wax. Its the higher temps you want to stay away from because it will burn off the fragrance. Maybe even pour when slushy. HTH
  5. I use a blend with majority 464 and i get my wood wicks from The Flaming Candle Co. with good success.

    6006 and 464

I wait at least 1 week since it has soy in it.
  7. I have found that HTP wicks bend more than CD wicks. Does everyone else find this to be true or is it because of the wax coating that my supplier uses?
  8. When comparing Double CD 5 vs Single CD 20 using 464, which had a better hot throw and also how much faster did the double wicked candle burn compared to the single wicked?
  9. I meant 1 in deep melt pool, not 1 in diameter.
  10. I totally agree. In testing I went from a 105 with wax on the sides of the container to a 1212 with a 1 in melt pool.
  11. Not only what kind of wax but what fragrance load, amount of dye, & what additives do you use? that causes mushrooming in CDs?
  12. I have Peak's Cinnamon and its not bad but i think it smells more like red hots than cinnamon. (a little on the sweet side). I am going to try NG Cinnamon stick next.
  13. IYO is there a big difference between HTP and CD wicks? From what ive read they are basically the same except HTP is made in USA and CD is made in Germany. What are the performance differences in GW 464?
