Wondering where is a good place to start making pies..I would like to learn how to make these pies and donate them to our church pre-school so they can sell them and raise money for play ground equipment. Wondering where I can get great quaility supplies but not break my pocket since I will be donating these to the church. Any help would be great. thank you!
How long do YOU think the 8oz wickless candles last?? How long do YOU suggest people keep these on a warmer?....say 4 hours at a time then turn the warmer off?
ok not trying to be silly here...but i didnt know Peaks carries bears....how long heve they had them? and where are they listed on the site...I mean which category are they listed under.?? I went to the link above and got there..but to just click around on the site I just dont see bears. TY
thank you everyone...I think I must have poured too cool Im going to go remelt and use a diff thermometer..I bet thats the problem I have been trying to post a pic but it says its too big grrrrrrrr
Ok I have made lots of votive just not recently....I have never had this problem....I just took my votives out of the mold..and about an inch up the votive there is a white-ish coloring (the votive is a burgandy color) and tiny tiny tiny pits I have never had this happen before...Maybe did I pour them too hot?? Any suggestions?? Also can I remelt them and try again or is the wax crap now? TIA
Yes thats what i meant..Thank you...I never did anything with the bottom because I can feel the wick tab go into the wax then I put on my warning label... Thank you all for your responses!
if ya do....then once the votive is cooled and you remove the wick pin...and feed the wick through....do YOU (personally) hit it with a heat gun...or is it OK to YOU, to see the tiny tiny space between the votive and wick (I hope that made sense)
Any advice would be great. I have tried adding the color to a small amt of oils..and then slowly trying to swirl that into each mold (for the most part i use the mini loaf pans) I have tried to add the dye by its self and I get crap'ola!
I fell your pain Lindsay....Im thining I would be sitting infront of my computer all day if I keep track of everything..I recently got quickbooks and have yet to find the time to get everything put in
Thank you guys...But you know what I mean you get a picture in your head...how you think it should look then it comes out of the mold and your like what the hell! LOL and excuse my typos..
This is a picture of my first attempt at layers...as you can see it didnt work....the pink is Chamomile and the purple is Lavender....Im thinkin I poured the second layer too soon. Since i have this picture here...I was wondering on suggestions...this is a mold from Target...I should have filled it more .to make the soap look nicer....This is a target mold I used...and a bag for the liner...How do I make that top look nicer? and how thick do you cut the bars?
