  7. i am with the others. i don't label my soaps until a full cure. i use the dan's bands with a round label. i have only had one incident where the soap shrunk more after a 4 week cure. i just used my heat gun to fit the wrap snuggly around my soap

  9. i am no professional, but through my experience i use lots of natural light and a fairl decent camera. i tend to take all of my pix outside when the sun is blazing full blast.
  10. i use mine for b&b only. when i cook, i normally don't need my kitchenaid, but if i needed to use it, i would invest in a separate bowl and attachment for that purpose

  14. i made a light box using pvc pipes from Home Depot and paid about $12 for the supplies. I set mine up outside during the day. good lighting in my opinion is the best option.

  18. i agree with everyone, once water is entered into the formula, you must preserve.
  19. umm!, i have no creative ideas for packaging lotion bars, i have only seen them in tins and lotion tubes, but just wanted to say i agree, the deodorant tubes are not very attrative to me for lotion bars either....unless you put a really cool label on it.
  20. i have never used that bottle, however, i get many of my packaging items from WSP, mainly from the surplus section and have not had a problem with any of them...HTH
  21. I have never ordered from either, nor have I worked with either of the salts in question. However, I wanted to share that SaltWorks has come highly recommended by many b&b creators....HTH
  22. i have done as Lindsay for the longest time, print on full sheet and cut to fit. my labels always wrap around the whole tube with a little overlapping.
  23. umm! not sure of the tubes you're referring to, do you have a link or pic, maybe i will be able to get a better understanding. or i might just be tired and am not comprehending well...lol
