  1. You said you use a transluscent base, is this m&p?
  2. Currently I use 2oz push up tubes, and 4 oz tins for my lotion bars. I have purchased some cute milky way molds to use as lotion bar molds. Does anyone have any creative ideas for containers for oversize, or unusual size bars? I have a 4oz moon face, 2dolphins, a budha, mermaid, and some hearts from a silicon mold I bought. I was thinking of the jewelry boxes like Nashville Wraps sells, (very reasonably priced) and package with a wax paper square. I have been searching other areas and need some ideas! help!!
  3. I have melted shea butter and just poured into containers, no fragrance. It is very nice just straight. No graininess. I am thinking of offering them just like that, as well as a brochure I have made up of the benefits of shea butter. HTh
  4. I went to one in Dallas while visiting, Spent 30 seconds and walked out.
  5. I had both Kelsei and Upland, hated the Kelsei, sold it. Love the uplands, I have 2 24 bar slabs and a 12 bar slab. I am thinking about ordering a lot mold. I have the fcs log cutter. Never tried the Misty Creek, but am interested also in hearing from those that have it.
  6. I have used the pvc, the pringles can, but the best one of all for round soaps is the Crystal lite tube. Perfect for shaving soap, reusable, cut the end off the bottom and use the top as the cap. I line the bottom hole only with waxpaper or clingwrap, then put the top on and secure with rubber bands. reusable too!
  7. Awesome looking soap Carrie! I always have ricing with Hawaiian Pikaki.
  8. Wow, there are so many differences, I guess there are no set guidelines for what to use? I am studying candlemaking, and am sooo confused with all the numbers! Although I appreciate all you chandlers who post and make this a very informative site.
