  1. I also picked up a bottle of WCA and I'm stoked! I hope it smells just like the lotion. I love that stuff! Also hopefully it smells good in a candle. LOL
  2. Naughty boy.. and yes you should stay out of the ASS conversation
  3. I figured that I'd get a few replies based just on the title.. but hopefully I'll get some opinions on the oils as well! LOL
  4. I loved typing that title. LOL! I've got my eye on Berry Bundt Cake and Pumpkin Cheesecake. How do they rate?
  5. In the midst of this 100 degree nationwide weather I've got Fall scents lingering in the back of my mind. I've slowly but surely been buying my fair share and with that said.. What's your Top 5 Fall Fragrance Suggestions!! Mine: 1) Just Scent Country Kitchen 2) Green Leaf Honey Graham Crackers 3) Military Wife's Vanilla Bean Noel 4) Save on Scents Peppermint Patty 5) Indiana Candle Supply Vanilla Frosted Grahams Now it's your turn! All little fragrance suppliers welcome. Shout it out! Which oils blow your socks off?
  6. I'm sorry that what I said must have offended you, but you did ask us for constructive critisim and I thought that I gave that to you. I would feel completely had as a customer if I was buying a candle from somewhere because I thought it was soy and it was actually something that candle makers called a blend. You don't make soy candles. You make soy blended with PARAFFIN candles and that should be completely clear. I too sell blended candles and I make that clear when someone asks me what they are made of. I just think your logo misleads people.
  7. This is the first time I have seen your site and I didn't bother reading through all 9 pages of posts, but I'm going to have to say that since you said you are using a blend that I think it'd be wrong of you to say that you make 'soy' candles. It says that you are the creator of soy candles and you're not. You're the creator of soy blend candles no matter the ratio. Your logo should probably be revamped also, because I too thought you were selling only soy candles and someone who's looking for a 'pure' soy candle would buy one from you and never know that you were misleading them. You have a whole section dedicated to soy as well which would also make the average reader automatically think that you sell 100% soy and most run of the mill candle makers have NO idea what soy blend means. Heck, I'd think soy blend means that you use different types of soy and blend them together! I may sound like I've joined the forces to attack, but I just noticed that there are still stuff on your site that should be fixed before you open for business. Have a great night!
  8. The difference with paying someone 750 and someone zero is how professional it's going to look. The really really good designers do charge zero but I can suggest someone who can make you one for like 250. She knows what she's doing, but since she doesn't do it for a living won't charge an arm and a leg.
  9. Hahaha! I was going to ask what these are too!
  10. I use this wax and that's never happened to me.. I pour at about 140. HTHs!
  11. My mom found this candle at a store and the scent smells like starburts.. like the candy. It's really really strange, but they called the candle Lemon Cream Danish. You can't smell the bakery scent just the sweet scent of startbursts. Anyone know where I could find an oil like this?
  12. I absolutely don't think you should stop posting here. I think the reason why everyone got so riled up is because lately it's almost been like people have been attacking this supplier. The other day they were saying that there were floaties in a chocolate oil she had and then a couple days later you posted saying you thought you saw pulp in your oil. LOL To answer your question about the white stuff in your oil though.. I've ordered oils before and not just from JS, and there's been white crystal like stuff sitting in the bottom of my oils. These crystals are from the vanilla's or something and when they get cold they crystalize. I'm not saying that this is the case with your particular oil, but it certainly could be. All I can say is that if there is pulp in your oils you've got a BIG problem and I would certainly take it up with JS but I'm HIGHLY doubting that's what it is. As with the chocolate oil that someone had a problem with.. if there's cocoa in that oil then someone's got a big problem because NO ONE uses raw materials like cocoa when they make oils like that. Someone also said that they once found sticks in an oil. I find that really hard to believe. Again, let me make this perfectly clear.. I'm not affliated with JS. I'm just a customer who has some of her oils on my scent list and the ones that I do use I've been impressed with. Some don't work for me.. just like some NG, Daystar, TCS, and ICS don't work for me either.
  13. The thing is.. every oils works differently for every single person. Something that I love you may hate. That's what is so great about having tons of supplier. I just start getting discouraged with CT when it seems like every time I come here someone is trying to start stuff with others. I don't pay attention to who's starting what because I don't have time to make mental notes. I've been a member since Sept and have such a low post count, but that doesn't mean I don't check in daily. I just wish that people could post constructive criticism. If you get an oil from ANY company and it stinks don't rush to CT and say, "OH MY GAWD (enter oil and supplier here) smells like cat pee!! I barfed all over my keyboard!!" because sometimes what people post are damaging to others. I've never got an oil from JS that has stuff floating in it. Perhaps these things that people are posting are really happening, but maybe instead of coming here they could 1st email the supplier and ask there and then if you feel the supplier is feeding you a line of crap you could come here and ask. JMHO.
  14. Kimberly, I completely agree with you BUT it does seem like some people really go out of there way to make sure they get to add extra snide remarks about JS. I have a few of JS's oils on my list as well as many other oils suppliers and you are right. Some work.. and some don't, but I think you get to a point as a reader of Candletech when you just shake your head at some people who post because they are obviously trying to just create drama and get their 2 cents in. Okay back in my corner
  15. The thing that bothered me most about BC is that when I first started ordering from then it would take 2-3 days for them to even acknowledge my order and then another 5-8 days for it to arrive. I need instant satisfaction.
  16. I have about 100 oils and a million sample oils. There are a few that I'm removing once the oil runs out because they just didn't sell well.
  17. I also picked number 3 before reading what others picked.
  18. JS Serendipity and BCN Wild Berry Zinger Tea are totally different oils. Serendipity is coconut like and Zinger Tea is really fruity. I'm confused! LOL
  19. It may be the crystal stuff that happens with oils that have vanilla in them. I've had that with a few oils that were not JS oils and once it got warmer they went away.
  20. Does anyone know of any that do?? I had one lined up and they just found out that they can't. The supplier can even be in Canada. Help!!
  21. KY Candy Supply Just Scent Daystar Natures Garden
  22. I googled that Wildfire Creations website and she doesn't have VBN on her list. Maybe she'll see this thread and pm me! I want to buy a bottle.
