MrsPine09
Good Afternoon!I've been trying to find local suppliers on the East Coast, but am having a hard time finding a supplier that is a one-stop-shop. I really love Brambleberry and all that they have to offer, however the shipping time and costs are putting a strain on me. I'm also looking for a supplier that offers quality MP bases like BB (I believe BB bases are the SFIC ones). I found NGs which is much closer to me, but I'm not sure about the quality of their bases.Could someone offer me some help/guidance as far as solid soap suppliers go that are on or close to the east cost. I live in Massachusetts if this helps. Also, I've been on the suppliers by state website countless of times, but I don't think this is a reliable source as a lot of the websites are no longer valid or they don't offer a one-stop-shopping experience like BB.Thank you,Tara
Buttsmom
I started with NG's base and FO's. I really liked the GM base, but thought I should try something else to compare it too. I tried BB's and like it a lot better, much creamier in my opinion. I still buy a lot of my other stuff from NG because they are quicker about getting their orders out and since they are closer to me then BB the shipping is faster too. I have a 2lb slab of the GM base from NG here I haven't used. If you want to try it I would sell it to you for what it cost me plus shipping to you. blacktieaffair
Another option is, they usually have Co Op purchases on the SFIC bases, from the manufacturer. Once you get some more posts, and have been on the board a short while , you can participate in them.

MrsPine09
Thanks for the responses! I've done some research and it seems like NG offers more of a one-stop-shopping experience like Brambleberry. I'm going to try their GM base as well as other products, I've dealt with them on their FB page and so far I'm very impressed with their customer service! @Buttsmom: So the two pound slab would cost me $6.29 plus shipping? Where are you shipping from?

Candybee
Have you checked out C&S in Pennsylvania? They carry my favorite bases, colors, molds, other body/bath bases like lotions, shampoo, etc., as well as candle supplies, fragrance, colorants, etc. They are a full service candle and soap supplier on the East Coast. I like that they charge you exact shipping and use both UPS and USPS to get you the best price. Check them out. They ship fast too and have fantastic customer service. What I don't like about them is they sell out of supplies as fast as they get them in so order early. It looks like their MP bases are made out of the same ingredients as the ones from NG. Are you able to use the soap all over your body (not just your hands) without your skin drying out? MrsPine09
Absolutely! We use nothing but my M&P here... moisturizingExcellent, thanks for sharing! I'm always concerned with MP bases being too drying since everyone's skin is different. I tend to suggest to my family to try it on their hands first and if they don't notice any changes in their skin then they should be all set to use it all over their body. carol k
I use NG's goats milk m&p base & love it. They have changed it recently to all natural so it contains none of the harmful ingredients.
