brempel
I am making bathbomb cupcakes with the whipped top. What I am wondering is the client would like the top dipped in glycerin when it's done to provide more of a sheen and hardness. Has anyone done this? What are your thoughts? TallTayl
What are you making the topping out of?
brempel
It is made with the foaming bath whip from Wholesale Soap Supplies
jeanie353
I'm wondering if dipping the icing in glycerin may make for a slippery tub. Unsure if it would make it harder or not. Don't know if you are interested in this or not but I've mixed foaming bath whip with coffee creamer to harden it up for a whipped topping on M&P. CareBear
glycerin is liquid, first off, and is sticky also.plus it's a humectant so will draw moisture from the air which is probably not something you want.try dipping in clear MP soap, maybe? Misty
I'm thinking glycerin is going to attract moisture to your bath bombs and destroy them. M & P would give it a sheen, but may be hard to apply. Maybe if you brush it on?
brempel
Melt and pour is what refering to, just I was calling it glycerin. I was just wondering if the topping would stay to moist if dipped?
asheebeans
Can't you make the entire cupcake top out of MP, using a mold? I've done it and they are super cute!! Haven't found a way to attach sprinkles yet....maybe brushing with MP and then sprinkling jojoba spheres on them? Just throwing that out there......
