Hi! I'm wondering if anyone makes soap embeds or buys them somewhere? I make cold process soap and looking for embeds as in small fruits ect to put on top of my soap. I would prefer to buy them ready made! Any suggestions?

So I've been asked to make pillars from Feather Palm as I always pour. My question is this. I'm supposed to make 2/6.5 pillars. I've been looking at wicks and recommend is rrd29. I will be test burning but just wanting to know if anyone makes this size? I am having a really hard time as in Canada they don't sell this wick on the spool so I have to order USA which is fine just want to get it right! Any suggestions would be so appreciated! Bev

I received my order and they sent me fractionated coconut oil that is liquid. Does anyone use this in cold process? I was looking at recipes to see if I could use it, just want to do a test run on something, don't need do test a recipe. Any ideas?

Melt and pour is what refering to, just I was calling it glycerin. I was just wondering if the topping would stay to moist if dipped?

I am making bathbomb cupcakes with the whipped top. What I am wondering is the client would like the top dipped in glycerin when it's done to provide more of a sheen and hardness. Has anyone done this? What are your thoughts?

So I have worked a bit on the size of the batch of soap i want to try. I have put it thru the calculator and hoping its right. Coconut-22.oz palm-6.oz mango-4oz Lye-5.6oz H2O-13.8oz I am looking to make a bar that is white in color and lathers well. Bev

This is a recipe that I think I am going to try. I put it throught the lye calculator. What do you think of it? coconut 80oz. palm 10oz. mango 10oz. olive 10oz. Total Oils: 110.0oz. Water: 36.7oz. Lye: 18.8oz.

I am looking for a CP recipe that has very little Olive Oil and lots of coconut oil and comes out white. Any one want to share a recipe? I have one that I have used for years but it has lots of Olive Oil and wanting to change it to coconut, palm and mango butter. It could have a bit of olive oil. I also would like a bar that is whiter then my recipe. Any ideas would be great! Bev:cheesy2:

:sad2:I have been using the same recipe for 5 years for my cp soap, and this week the first 2 batches were great and the next 10 I can hardley get to a thin trace? I am ready to cry as I am pouring for a store and not my self. The only thing that has changed as far as I can tell is my stick blender broke and now I have been trying to use a mixer with 2 beaters. I am wondering if this could be the problem? I have tried 2 days of everything from cleaning to new scale new thermometers? Any one have any ideas? Bev

I am wondering if any one here knows where you can get the tube inserrts to make soap loaf style. I am looking for a whale and things like that. I see them in soap already but I cant seem to find them. Bev

I have a shower base gel that I ordered, it does not sud! Does anyone put a simple ingredient in theirs to get more lather?

I have a heart shaped christmas candle containor. It has been sitting in my candle room for 2 years because I have trouble trying to figure out what wick, and 1 or 2. I am using a soy/par blend. Any ideas? I may just sell the lot because they have frustrated me!
