Lid or No Lid

Recommended Posts

Just want to get some opinions on lids. The apothecary jars without a doubt should have lids. I use the status jars & am testing the hourglass jar. I personally once I use a candle do not put the lids back on & was wondering how many others don't. Granted they do add class to the lids. :laugh2:

Most of the time I do not put the lids back on. I find that when I do after I have burned the candle, the next time I take off the lid I can smell a bit of smoke from the previous burn (just when I take off the lid). If I store the candle then I will "lid it". Also, I'm a bit on the lazy side when it comes to lidding the jar. ;)

I use lids for the same reason listed above. With 5 animals in the house, we get fur everywhere if I am not careful. Just moved furniture last night and it looked like I was growing an animal out of the carpet.
