classiccandle
I just poured my first batch of soap in a silicone soap mold purchased in the coop (thanks Jen!). My questions are, how long should I let it set up prior to removing it from the mold and then how long should I wait to cut it?Thank you! ksranch
Is it M&P or CP?
classiccandle
It's M&P
Kitn
I cut as soon as it is solid, cause I cannot wait.
ChandlerWicks
Until you can't stand waiting another minute!
ksranch
Same here.... as soon as it's solid I'm cutting it! ((I do let it sit overnight then before wrapping))
classiccandle
I took it out of the mold this morning. Since it's the first batch I'm considering selling I didn't get fancy with it. Just SFIC white base with walnut shell powder and fragrance. It looks like a piece of marble! I could just sit here for the rest of the day and marvel at my creation....Now I have another question so I'm hijacking my own thread...lol. How do you ladies, and guys too, clean your silicone soap molds? Do you recommend soap and water? Wipe out with paper towel only? I can smell the fragrance in the mold so I'm hoping when I clean it out it will go away.Thank you!
