Too much FO???

I made a couple of jar candles with Whipped Cream fragrance oil, and no color. As they were curing I noticed there were orange streaks all through the candle and at the bottom of the jar. The longer it cured, the streaks seemed to lessen in some places and get worse in others. Anybody have any ideas what I did to cause this:confused:

It would help if you tell us what wax you used; the amount of wax and the amount of FO you used for a start. Often FO that leaks out of wax means either you used too much or didn't incorporate it into the wax.

I used a pound of 4630 wax, and 2 ounces of weighed fragrance oil.

Yes, it's too much. I use that wax and never have to go over 1oz pp with my FO's.

that is 12%+ - way too much. Melt it down, add another lb of wax and you should be good to go.
