misspam56
Does anyone make doggie soap? I have a friend with a pet sitting business that wants me to make her some doggie soap and was looking for a good recipe. I tried a cpl that I find online, but they were just so so. tia
Candybee
You may want to try asking this in the CP soap section. Even if you plan to use a M&P glycerin base you can use additives that are safe and gentle enough for a dog shampoo type soap. I do know that dogs have very sensitive skin. Someone posted about using Emu oil in their dog soap a while back. Sorry I can't find the post or why they used it. But you might want to read up on it. I think generally any M&P base would be gentler and better cleansing rather than any commercial dog soap.
Oceangazer1
I have a little maltipoo and she has kinky hair but pink skin...I don't want to use commercial shampoo on her, but worried I will soap her up with something she will react to. I buy the "best" I can for her.
Kitn
Animals skin is very tender handmade soap may have to high a ph, it really is best to buy good quality commercial products for your animals.
