mary_jennets
How would you ship candles to hot places like Texas where there is a chance the heat will distort the candles? How do you prevent that?
sharyl55
Pray a lot. Think there was just a thread on this. Consensus seemed to be to ship USPS Priority on Monday or Tuesday. Normal packaging - peanuts, etc.
mary_jennets
I must have skipped when searching So Priority, Monday and insurance. Thank you.
Blest2BAmerican
Someone posted on another board that she put smelly jelly crystals in a ziplock back with water and placed them in the freezer. She said they didn't freeze but got really cold and then she placed them in the box before shipping and her candle arrived in Texas without being melted and the crystals were still cold. Might be worth a try.
sudsnwicks
Mary, it also helps if your customer can provide you with an address (e.g. their office) where the package will be taken indoors immediately instead of sitting out on their porch for several hours. I've had success doing it this way for packages going to Phoenix where it's 120 degrees.

Indescent
How do you guys deal with the shipping of whipped body butter?I have to send some out, but won't do it until Monday. Should I do the same thing as far as the icepacks?
Sherie
I would say definitely ice packs with butter. I was in the butter coop just a month or so ago and it wasn't as hot as it is now and mine were really soft.
