ksranch
I need to place an order with NG anyway, and I have a potential customer that says her husband will only let her burn 'fresh linen' or 'ocean' type scents in their house. Since I'm a bakery nut I've not ventured into these scents (but sure I need to) and NG has several...Clean CottonFresh LinenLaundromatApril CleanI use pariffin - does anyone recommend any of these? TIA
moonshine
Out of all of them I liked the Fresh Linen the best- but I switched to CS's Clean cotton, Beach Linen and also Peaks Downy FreshSo if your ordering from NG anyway try that one out and see what you think- I thought april clean was to light and laundromat I just plain didnt like but they had another one that was good to- gain something I thought, I liked that one also
lauramw71
I think fresh linen was the only one I didn't really care for. If I remember correctly it had kind of a floral note to it that I just didn't like. I have a couple of their laundry scents.. Country Clothesline (smells like Downy april fresh), Downy Clean Breeze, and Gain Island Breeze (or something like that) I really like all of them.. but have to say the Gain one was my fav. I really like BCN's Clean Cotton. I don't know what the Yank version of that smells like, but to me it smells just like Gold Canyon's Clean Sheets. I haven't tried Laundromat, or the NG version of Clean Cotton though...Hope that helps!
SuzyK
The only one out of those that I have tried is NG's Clean Cotton. I'm not a fan of the clean scents, but it sells well for me.
Lorelei
Linen Breeze and Seaside Cotton are our favorites, Laundromat smells just like you would think.
ksranch
This helps, I'll get a couple samples, at least I know which to stay away from! If those don't do the trick I've got some suggestions next time I order from Peak or CS = Thanks!
morethanrubies
one of my best seller's is NG's Downy Clean Breeze... sells out everytime.
Debra Phelps
I have used Fresh Linen for years and sells well. So does their April Fresh Downy, and their Gain, the original scent..
lauramw71
Where do you get the Gain original fragrance? I've had people asking for that one, but only have the Island Fresh.
Aimee81
If I am correct, NG has a Gain Original Fragrance
Debra Phelps
It may be the Island one I use from them. I get the original from MCs, and it is a top seller for me. Just saw this, sorry.

A couple other good sellers from Candlemakers that are clean are the Downy Clean Breeze and Niagara Falls Mist.

morethanrubies
I have a slightly off topic question about this. Do any of you rename Gain? I JUST broke down and got Gain from Millcreek, but I don't want to call it that. Any suggestions?
Aimee81
Just Scent has Gain (type) and it worked really well in my soy wax melts. I don't change the name when I sell them, it really smells nice too
morethanrubies
I never tried Just Scents, do use 100% soy for your melts?I found a really cute vintage pic of tea towels and aprons on a clothesline for my labels, so I'm renaming it to afternoon clothesline. If it doesn't move I might switch it to actual Gain

puma52
Hi Ks!I use paraffin for my candles and Cajun Candles has a wonderful scent called Sea Island Cotton that is just awesome! It is a wonderful clean cotton scent with a dash of ocean thrown in. It is just a wonderful clean scent. Cajun has also just gotten some new scents in recently. Several of their scents have been on my best-seller list for all of the 11 years that I have been in business. Love Cajun!!
